@SLSTechie The version of Chicane is basically a remix of a Clannad track, and in your words he also claimed that that was his own work, so there's nothing wrong with RvdB.
I guess this would sound a lot better if the audio was in STEREO not mono plz kthx. It is a good remix and the newly added vocals do add to it, but it's wrong that Rvdb has claimed its his own work when it's clearly not.
Please guys, stop acting like RvdB has stolen anything from Chicane. The track by Chicane was a remix in the first place, so it's hardly stealing. It's just a newer attempt to remix Clannad, obviously inspired by Chicane though. And there's nothing wrong with that, since that's just a beautiful trance track.
i guess its just a matter of what you heard first. you see, i heard that version first and i think it's definately not worse than chicanes version. its just who stole it from who, and the bad guy has the lamer version, that's all.
Not liking it at all. Re-recording the Clannad parts from a classic track like Saltwater is just a massive no-no in my book! ... Though I've heard versions of this with the actual Clannad vocal on, guess they couldn't get that cleared though! ... But I object to that version too anyways lol
