Your Daytona videos have absolutely scratched a major itch for me since I discovered them a few years ago. I lived in Daytona Beach from 2000-2004. Circumstances caused me to move back home to Michigan but mentally...I never left DB. In that time since, I've gone back to visit only a few times & each time it killed me to leave. This summer I'm finally Moving back & I must say.....I'M SUPER EXCITED!!!!!😎😎😎 Thank you for your posts....God Bless!!!
Thank you so much. Just stumbled upon this. I have so many great memories of that place, been there 18 times and can not wait to return.,truly is paradise.
Great to see Holiday Shores, Right before Peck Plaza. It's a mom and pop place that my family has visited for like 30 years. Nice family style hotel. Friendly staff. Not as luxurious as other places I've stayed but far from a bad place to stay. It's been refurbished due to the hurricane a few years ago. I'd recommend the place.
Mark H Hi Mark, see here the December Weather, historic average of course: www.accuweather.com/en/us/daytona-beach-fl/32114/december-weather/328173 Also depends where you coming from and how you coming from, IF driving from somewhere north or midwest, prepare for some snow or freezing rain on your way to Daytona. Very rarely snow or cold temps in Daytona in December but be prepared for pretty cold ocean temp compared to May-Oct for instance. Regardless, have a great Daytona vacation AND always drive safely. Chris
Jeremiah Jackson Tons of brand-new vids but not necessarily the very same places with my previous FL road trips, cause it's boring, plus I have some vids from places where personally never been to before, in total most likely 20+ vids to come and not just from The Sunshine State. Thank you for the kind words and be safe out there, JJ.
This must have been shot after they removed the Treasure Island sign off the building shown at 8:05 in the video. Now it's gut the skeleton of the building. Every year I go back I wonder if it'll ever become anything. I know 2 years ago I think the Peck company took over it. But last year in 2020 I went back and the Peck sign's are gone.
Timea Bakos Thank you for the kind words, Timea. I'm using non-copyrighted music in order to monetize my vids and make them viewable worldwide. Sometimes it takes up to 12 hrs to find/mix the right song (s) on a 20-min vid. And not always get it right from the first try, video manager tells me if the video can be monetized, if not I'll delete it right away (it's still in private) and start working again on the music until I'll see the $ sign inside a green square box. Anyhow, thank you for watching my driving/travel vids, more to come in the next days/weeks/months. Be safe and happy out there in the far east part of the world. God Bless.
Timea Bakos 100% of music you listen on land radio or SiriusXM sat radio is copyrighted and therefore by using a copyrighted song will immediately make your vid unavailable worldwide. Also in order to monetize your vid (I'm a YT partner running a monetized channel) first and foremost you must have the vid available worldwide and it's enough the vid to be blocked in just one country out of all countries around the world and therefore no more monetization. Not much I can do IF I want my vids to be viewed worldwide AND monetized. Other options could be to U/L the vid with no sound at all OR to continuously talk on the vid with car radio always turned off. I hate either way. One more thing, after you have uploaded your vid you gotta wait for YT to finish processing the vid and among many things YT "takes care of" is the audio level, YT always lowers the audio level, on my computer I keep all my original vids and the audio is way higher than when I get to watch them on YT, not much I can do on this front as well. BTW, I'm using a pro edition of Sony Vegas to render my Sony-recorded driving vids. Enjoy the weekend.
Wow, okay... That's deep :) Thanks for the most detailed technical explanation. I get it now. No probbie about the volume, I can always just turn it up a little.
Timea Bakos You're very welcome, Timea. I truly wish doing YT vids would be way easier than it is now. But for those who don't have a monetized channel and/or don't care if their vid is blocked in one or more countries or even muted by YT, all of the above are of no importance. Why YT automatically lowers the volume? no freakin' idea, Timea. Also all my YT vids are one second longer than the original ones, for instance this particular vid is 23:11 in length but on my computer is 23:10 in length. B/C we uploaders are not in control on how YT automatically processes our vids, all we can do is simply adapt to their strict "rules". Personally I hate the copyright rule but that's the law of the land pretty much all around the world. Have a great weekend and feel free to ask more Qs when in... "trouble" LOL
Hey, sorry if I appear to be dragging on this, but since you do all this work with the mixing, how about uploading the soundtracks to soundcloud or mixcloud? Then people can download them from there. I mean, there are lots of mixes on soundcloud put there by people and I download them all the time. I'm sure it would't be too much of an effort to put them there (although since I haven't actually done it, I don't know the details). Well I sure like the music that comes with your videos and would like to listen to it at other times too, that's why I asked in the first place. Perhaps you can consider expanding your wonderful work with something like that in the future...

This did'nt North Atlantic Ave new, is it?
Love your stuff! Ok I'm sure it is mentioned somewhere but what's the music? Do you mix it yourself? Is it maybe downloadable from somewhere?
