I used to be a quilter, but poor eyesight and arthritis in my right hand makes it hard. Gave my sewing machines away because I couldn't thread the needles. Couldn't bring myself to get rid of the fabric. After seeing this, I am tempted to buy a self-threading sewing machine. That's a beautiful table runner, Jane, it looks very crisp and clean.
Thanks very much for watching
Ive searched for weeks to find a table runner i love , and now ive found it . 😊
So glad!
I really enjoyed watching this video. I'm moving in a few weeks to a small apartment so I will have more time to take up quilting. Can't wait to make this. Thank you for sharing your talents and tips.
Thanks very w
Red and white is very Christmassy to me. Very nice!
Thanks very much
Thankyou, Christmas therapy sewing, I have made a lot of my Christmas presents this year.
I made all mine too.
Thanks for a really good tutorial, Jane. That runner is lovely, and I was interested that you join your binding on the straight. I've seen other quilters do it diagonally, which I don't understand as the binding is not cut on the bias. Watching your tutorial it clearly it isn't necessary. I'd love more quilting videos.
Thanks very much
Thank you for the really clear instructions. The finished runner looks beautiful. Hope you and Mike have a lovely Christmas.
Thanks for watching and your feedback
What a lovely table runner, I have zero ability with sewing but love these videos.
Thank you
You make it look so easy.
I love quilting. My first ever tablerunner Was simular. Only in blue and white. I still use it today. That is so lovely about quilts, they have that extra value becouse they are made with love
Thanks Melanie. I hope my tutorial was easy to follow.
Hi Jane and Mike. Just wanted to say thank you for your videos and tips. You have helped me so much to become frugal and I m saving money. Merry Xmas.

You made that look so easy and beautiful. Thank you for your very slow instructions, I didn’t have to keep backing up the video and then still not know what I was doing. This is the first of your videos that I have seen so i subscribed, I can’t wait to see more.
Thank you Jane so much. You taught me a new way of making the hour glass block. I have that ruler. Putting on the binding is my favourite part of making the quilt. I love the hand work.
Thanks Debra
Lovely table runner, Jane!! I liked the picture at the end of the pups peeking out the window at the snow. Wishing you and Mike a very Merry Christmas.
That’s Dolly Knockers and Mary Poppet
Love your table runner, red and white is so festive, but also has that lovely Scandi/Hygge flavour! Nice easy to follow tutorial as well, haven't seen that Flying Geese ruler before, looks very useful. I do love your sewing room too. Have a lovely Christmas.x
Thanks very much
What a beautiful, easy table runner! I love the gingham border! I’m with you, I love hand sewing binding on. I’ll do the binding for our three community quilt committees, military, comfort quilts and kid’s in our guild. I find it so relaxing! Happy christmas, Jane and Mike! 🎄🎁🎉
Thanks Wendy.

Thanks for the inspiration! I’m actually from Ohio but I’ve never made an Ohio Star block! That’s going on my quilting list for 2023. I like the rhythm of hand sewing. It’s very relaxing. Your table runner is beautiful. Merry Christmas to you and Mike, and the rest of your family.
Thanks Lori
Just beautiful Jane! You are inspiring me to try! I am adding it to my plans for 2023.
I have done exactly one quilted pillow, while in high school, and it was all done by hand! But using a machine sounds like a real possible project for me!
Thank you for this tutorial🙂
You’re welcome and thanks for watching

Hi Jane. Your Christmas table runner is lovely. Learning to quilt is on my list next year. Hopefully by next Christmas I will be confident enough to make my own Christmas runner. Thanks for sharing. A very Merry Christmas to you and Mike.
Thanks for watching

Merry Christmas Tess. Hope you manage to get a bit of a rest between meal preps.
Thanks very much
Beautiful! I will absolutely be giving this pattern a try. Thank you for your clear instructions and helpful tips. Merry Christmas!
Thanks so much
I really enjoyed this video, I enjoy all your videos but you know me, I'm in my happy place when there are needles and thread involved.. Lovely table runner. Did I see an electric bobbin winder on your cutting table?. If so, how do you find using it? I have often wondered how well they work. Thank you guys. Happy Christmas ....... M x
I love the bobbin winder, it came with my moxie
I absolutely hate the "triangle" rulers. They seem to work, but always something makes them more trouble than needed. I placed white fabric and red fabrics together. Cutting a 5 1/4 square diagonal both ways.
I use the triangle rulers as I keep all my scrap fabric in strips and my quilts are mostly scrappy quilts.
Rather than flipping the triangle ruler, flip the fabric. Then you can cut away from you.
Lovely table runner ♥️
Would you mind to say how did you get your long arm? I live in Portugal and I'm wondering if you bought it in Europe. Thanks for your generosity, charing wisdom with us!
I bought it from Handiquilter France.
