I decorate bottles with in various ways and use fairy lights inside.. i intend to make a peacock one with a trail of tissue paper feathers and lights.. which i can now do thanks to your tutorial
A very interesting tutorial. I actually had never even thought about making a Peacock feather. So I am most definitely going to try this. There are however a few things that I would change. I couldn't really see what kind of pens Ms Gupta, was using. I would see if I could find good quality glitter pens in the appropriate colors. I would also change the orange part to a medium, to light brown. I would also bring up some of the brown into the small dark blue. I would also make the indent cut slightly larger. And finally, I would try and find some small cocktail stirrers/straws, either in clear, or a translucent white. And this is where I would have to experiment a little bit. I would try to cut the stirrer in half, and then use either tacky glue, or the glue gun, to glue it down the middle of the feather, to simulate the rib of the feather. It may or may not work. But nothing ventured, nothing gained. The absolute only thing that could happen, is to find out my ideas won't work.
Sorry didn't understand your question. I have used glitter pens in different colours to go with different papers. For example blue pen on blue paper, purple pen on purple paper etc.
Beautiful! Great job This tutorial is a huge lifesaver! :D I'm doing a D.I.Y. Peacock Costume for Halloween and rather then spend a ton on actual feathers from crafting stores thanks to your video I can make them myself.
Actually it's greenish brown but couldn't get that colour on paper. Besides I think it would have looked a bit dull so I used this colour. But please go ahead and use green instead. Even that will look very pretty.😊
