This pattern's phrasing is very inconsistent and confusing, as shown by the fact that most of the comments are confused by the 4th row, so I rewrote it. Here is my version of the flower pattern. Parentheses () signify "in same stitch". Brackets [] signify where a repeat starts/ends. Note: rsc in this pattern seems to be a variant of back post slip stitch, check the video to see what I mean. Row 1: ch 64 Row 2: 2 dc in 4th chain from hook, [sk, (2 dc)] 30 times (62 stitches at end) Row 3: ch 3, [sk, (2 dc)] 31 times (62 stitches at end) Row 4: First petal: (3 ch, 1 tr), 3 tr, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss) Petals 2-5: [(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr), 1 tr, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 4 times Petals 6-9: [(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr), (2 tr), (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), (2 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 4 times Petals 10-12: [(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr) (2 tr), 1 tr, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), 1 tr, (2 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 3 times So, what are the issues with this pattern? 1. In row 2 and 3, the math is wrong. Row 2: (2 dc in each st, sk 1, 2 dc in each st, and sk 1) repeat 30 times, 2 dc in each st. The number of stitches written here would be 4 * 30 + 2 = 122 stitches. This should be written as "(2 dc in each stitch, sk 1) repeat 30 times, 2 dc in each st". This makes 2 * 30 + 2 = 62 stitches. 2. The 4th row is inconsistent and messy in its syntax. For example, the 2nd-5th petal is written like this: (1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr, then 1 tr in the next stitch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr, 1 tr in the same stitch, 3 ch, 1 ss) The petal as written seems to be saying it is [1 ss, 3 ch, 2 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, (2 tr), 3 ch, 1 ss], which takes up 5 stitches instead of 4 and would look really wonky compared to the intended [(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr), 1 tr, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] The final product is lovely, but I shouldn't have to work this hard for what is a simple pattern at the end of the day.
Thank you so much! I had to frog and restart 6 times before I went searching in the comments to see if anyone else had the same issues as me, you've made my day!
I've been attempting to crochet a few of your flower patterns. I really enjoy the patterns, however, I wish you would explain what you are doing in the video. I've already printed the pattern, turned on the caption and reduced the speed of the video, and still struggle to understand. I have ADD (attention deficit disorder), and sometimes, having oral, visual, and written instructions really helps. Just a suggestion if you want your videos to be more accessible to everyone. 😊
Hello! I think you've alredy read the about the right way to crochet it in the comments. But i just wanted to say that they have a site with all the patterns in their channel! This exact pattern is free of use
Omg I love your videos SO MUCH! Soon will make my first bouquet, you have the best tutorials and the prettiest flowers on the RUclips, please never stop to make your videos! Thank you sooo much❤
I really like the pattern but I stuck at row 4.. i barely understand the instructions and I've watched the video multiple time yet still don't understand... please help.. i really want to do the pattern 😢
In R4 i was a bit confused since the pattern says …1 tr, 3 tr… which would mean that the the 3 tr are supposed to be in one single stich but the video is showing something else? Or am I confusing something?

I've also got ADHD and while I can't add audio for you, I wrote the main flower pattern in a way that is much more legible than the original.

Me too, i cant follow
Hi, I would like to help. I understood the pattern.
You're far from the only one. The pattern is very inconsistent in its syntax. I had to rewrite it entirely for myself. Here's the 4th row: (you should go into it w/ 62 stitches)
Row 4:
First petal:
(3 ch, 1 tr), 3 tr, (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)
Petals 2-5:
[(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr), 1 tr, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 4 times
Petals 6-9:
[(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr), (2 tr), (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), (2 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 4 times
Petals 10-12:
[(1 ss, 3 ch, 1 tr) (2 tr), 1 tr, (1 tr, 1 ch, 1 rsc, 1 tr), 1 tr, (2 tr), (1 tr, 3 ch, 1 ss)] 3 times

the whole pattern is quite confusing, so I did everything on intuition, anyway, then it collapses and generally looks like a rose :0
@@musiamu9463 Hi! Are you familiar with the type of yarn used in the video? 💌
@@shaun8880 she use cotton yarns for her flowers.
I have many stitches left in the end idk why I followed the pattern exactly put still I have plenty of stitches left in the end pls help
Thank you so much
You're most welcome
I don't know how to do rsc....😭
I think its better to put the pattern in ur video. Easier to follow
The subtitles in real time are clear enough. If you need, we have written pattern. hookok.com/crochet-cappuccino-rose-free-pattern/
It said repeat 4 times (5 times total) when it meant do 4 times in total
It would be so much better if you explained what you are doing and gave a voiceover.
❤😊🎉
❤
Finally flower patterns again
bruh its so fast
How is everyone following the pattern when there is no instructions?+
