    I really like this video. I have zero talent or experience with dancing, but you are seriously funny 😂
    I like your advice to not stop dancing when you forget the step. You are hilarious, a natural dancer & explain everything in a light and funny way.
    Thanks for sharing your gifts. 🙏🏼😊 You’re a natural!! 🏆

      @@LordHec_ Thanks for replying Lord Hec. I know they had the new thing of people dancing just off beat, but I’ve always said if you have two people with about the same skill and one dances to the beat and music he will always look better than the one who doesn’t. You are a brilliant dancer and have a great personality. You teach the moves with a great sense of humour added, keep it up. You are a star.

      I know the new thing was dancing just off the beat but I’ve always said if two dancers who were around equal in dance skill and one danced to the beat and music he will ALWAYS look better than the other dancer. That’s just me though maybe I’m wrong to a lot of people but I know I’m right. 😁 By the way you are a brilliant dancer and have a great personality. Your dance instructions are extremely good and humorous, you are a star. 😁

    Lord- I am a relatively new dancer and I always start in the front line because I can see the teacher and her steps. We change lines though and I get there super early. Just saying, you get the best views of the steps esp if it’s a new choreo….I mean that’s why I’m ever in the front. Our class is packed though …what do you think of my reasoning? And also, what’s a good amount of time to be in the front of this is the reason? 5 minutes? 3 minutes. Sometimes our teacher forgets to have us change lines…

    • @LordHec_
      @LordHec_  Год назад +1

      Thats really good reasoning as i didn't think about this POV aswell i was thinking from a performance stand point and having that self awareness to know , "am i equipped to be performing in the front with all that responsibility?" . If u find benefit in being in the front to see the instructors' step, stay there as long as u can !

  • @beach_lion

    Wow I learned so much from this video. Did you ever read any books about dancing that you liked? Not just for learning how to dance, but about what dance is and stuff -- I was very interested when you said that you should make eye contact when dancing, because dance is an exchange of energy. Or did you just learn that by your own experience :D
    My only party dancing pet peeve, is when people don't even try beyond the bare-minimum awkward shuffle-in-place lol

    That limiting factors tip during labbing and free styling really helped just now, my guy!
    Definitely gotta grow in staying fresh with movement and thinking on the spot, but also knowing how to give myself time to come up with a new idea or movement.
    And another really helpful tip was the difference between dancing in a small space vs a big one. Could you perhaps do a video that’s more in depth about how to transition between a small space to a big space? Or how to go from freestyle concept to full performance? That would be dope!

    Loved the vid a thing that dancers do that get me annoyed is no facials like when you dancing you don’t want to have your face just like nothing like you got to express every part of yo body when you dancing fr fr

    I want to learn the dances from the Childish Gambino video. But I’d be wayyyyyyy in the back. I’m really good at advanced step aerobics, with the complicated moves, sometimes two steps set up, but the last time I danced at a club was the 90s 😞

    100 percent on everything 🔥🔥🔥🙏🏼🙏🏼 definitely called me out when you said not to look at the floor XD a bit of a bad habit of mind cause i like to keep track of where my feet are going, since a lot of my dancing is footwork. Feel I should probably try to get more the habit of just feeling where my feet are going without watching them and just look up more often.

    At the most awesome troupe/studio I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of, Atomic Dance Factory, Austin, TX. members are taught: there is no such thing as messing up, forgetting, and certainly NO STOPPING. WHEN a dancer is in their head and happened to not be engaging in the CHOREO as everyone else, it's because it was time for their SOLO.
    😅😅😅
    "Messing up" means do it WAAAY BIIIG, turning it into a solo until you can re-enter the routine.

    Acutely bro for me I'm married and thots be disrespectful. Even when they see I'm clearly out with my wife. So I look down so they don't bother me. I also don't dance mid floor I dance off to the side. But when you dance well it tends to draw people to you.

    • @LordHec_
      @LordHec_  Год назад +1

      hahaha i feel u on this, thats a perfect situation to use the look down tactic, when u dont want any attention and jsut wanna enjoy time with yourself.

      One thing I can't stand is watching a dance at a club blow all their moves out in the 1st hour. Time management on the floor is important. Biggest reason because then next man waited you out. Then somewhere around 2 hours in I come in and now your thot got her eyes on a married man.😂😂😂😂
