This song is definitely what would be played as the antagonist sacrifices themself to stop the protagonist from being killed by the monster they unleashed
I disagree. It sounds like as if the antagonist won after all that fighting. And hes just standing on top of a hill, looking down to the heroes he defeated/killed. And the main protag is just standing there, in both awe and fear.
i can imagine, the end of the world. the protagonist and their partner are hurt fighting against a corrupt god. tears slowly falling down their face. then right as they hit the phrase "its (you) i lie with" on the you the antagonist flings a massive blow at them both. they are critically injured. they are doomed. their friends scream and cry trying to help but are unable to get to them as they are held back by the enemy. memories of their journey flash by. showing their highs and lows. then as the second "as the atom bomb locks in" plays the dust settles on the battlefield, showing them both still standing and now holding hands. looking weak, but determined. they are both crying. a camera pans to behind them as they charge the boss. everyone is confused. they all know they are to weak to take them alone. then they open that hand they were holding. inside was a pocket explosive. they knew the only way to get it to the enemy was to try something like this. through the tears, as the beat drops in the final bit they kamikaze blowing the boss to smithereens. but taking themselves with them. saving their friends. but at the cost of their own lives. then the camera fades to black. simple white text says "there is no happy ending. even if you hate this choice its not going to change the fact they are gone. they didn't get their happy ending. but the question is, will you work to get your happy ending?" then credits roll. leaving them with that message.
I can imagine the partner on a tied mountain, nearby he has a bomb that will explode within 4 minutes. the place is a hill with a path leading to the mountain, and the protagonist tries to reach his girlfriend, but falls into the trap set by the enemy. there are many traps on the ground and he has fallen into one of them, if he lifts his foot he is finished. the enemy arrives, frees the proud girl as if he had defeated the protagonist. his girl goes towards him fleeing from the hands of the enemy. to catch her he ends up in the trap too, he is here in the final part of the song, the girl is saved from these traps, but her boyfriend is still there with the enemy. the enemy says `` I did not imagine this will be our end, come on lift your foot and let us go to hell soon ''. the protagonist tells the enemy `` here, now only I decide when you will die. he turns to the girl and tells him `` I want to hear the last words from you, I want to hear something beautiful '', the girl tells him `` I will love you even if I die, with you I learned to love, with you I was born and with I will die you. the camera frames the foot of the protagonist who stands up and says `` I will save my love from your evil ''. here the camera gets up framing after 1 year at agazza with the daughter in hand that they walk and closes with a transition and a black background will come out with a text `` this is a blind love, it will remain blind and live in an eternal darkness, because it's a true love. ''

So you take a few memorabilia in your backpack and went to your steel storm shelter. The missiles collide with the Earth and the nuclear explosions far away destroyed your house. A few weeks later, you popped out of the shelter as the fallout dissipates. You turned to see your house destroyed, including the cities that are not that far from you. It's your time to survive the wasteland that whoever or whatever created it with a brave face. You walked away from your decimated house with your weapon and backpack full of supplies. It may be the end of the world, but it's just the beginning of a new life.

This reminds me of a story I heard once. So there was this small family husband, wife, and 2 kids. One day they got an alert about a bombing. It said to take shelter inbound missile, impact approximately 20 mins. People were running and screaming, calling loved ones, complete chaos. In the midst of all this the parents picked up each child brought them in the house, went to the children's room. Turned on their favorite movie and held them as tight as they could. The kids watched the movie ignorant to what was happening, laughing at all the jokes, the parents trying so hard to hid the tears and smile with them. And as it turned out it was a false alarm, someone had accidentally sent out a real alert. Since reading that I began my own little family and I cling to that story to remind me to treasure every moment I have with my children.

As the hero looks apund he realizes here is only one way to stop the villians tyranny. He prepares himself as he uses his final attack puting all of his strength into it. The result..the villian is gone his machine destroyed..but the hero lay in a bloddy heap his comrades surrounding him as they look at him wih tears in their eyes.
