You too I have a Nord n10 I fixed it by safe mode the Nord n10 clean the phone with alcohol wipes, the I use a dry clothes or towel to dry it then I go to RUclips forcestop it and clear cache and I restarted the Nord n10 and it fixes it I haven't had a problem with my RUclips glitching out for months
For me OnePlus is dead. My OnePlus 9 Pro just doesn't work. Btw. I also have the RUclips Bug. There are some other inconveniences as well. I bought the phone and at the beginning sometimes pictures weren't saved, because the camera app crashed and everytime my Background picture was resetting to the default one. Upgrading to Android 12 GooglePay didn't worked for about one month, same with Android 13.
I don't get this hard on for wireless charging which americans have. Lol All these banging up for carbon neutral and sustainability but no you lot prefer a highly inefficient way of charging and inefficient like 50-60% of wired version (which already has some inefficiencies). Wireless charging also causes more heat buildup than wired charging which in turn causes the battery to be spoiled faster and battery goes to the bin more earlier than expected and I guess you probably already know how harmful that is. It sort matches the American theme of smart-fying everything on your house for convenience, I do get the wireless charging convenience but don't you think its a very minor feature. Probably will save this comment for micheal fishers video as he will probably mention it like 10 times in a video.
@@ThisIsTechToday I can understand cultural difference. What bugs me is when that cultural difference's make a complete 180 against the core ideology of the consumer. Lol One one hand - Sustainability, use Tesla etc. Other hand - have a want for wireless charging which is very very inefficient. Not pulling this data out of my a_s there are studies done on this. And plus simple study can be done by people st home too, with minimal equipment.
It doesn't go against the core ideology of the consumer. When you have tons of wireless charging devices (like wireless earbuds), having one device that doesn't support it is idiotic, especially when it costs them less than a buck to put it in. It's convenient, and you stop using your phone long before the battery has issues. The concerns are overblown.
My RUclips apps has a problem. It Pits a small black box on the corner of the screen once in a while so I can't see anything. Have to close and reopen app
01. Well. The RUclips lag is present on my OnePlus 11. Hope they somehow how fix it in upcoming updates. 02. OMG... The haptics. I fell in love with this device simply because of the haptics. 03. I'm from India. And we get 100W charger and again OMG, my device went from 1 to 100 in 23 minutes one time and 25 to 26 minutes the rest of times. And I don't care about the wireless charging. I rarely use it anyway.
Idk why reviewers miss out the fact that the op11 uses a downgraded usb 2.0 from 3.1 way back from OnePlus 8 series and never mentions as if it is not important. Just like wireless charging it is important to some people and not to others. Especially if u own an SSD.
I'm ok with having ultra fast charging 27mins wired over wireless charging. Ip64 is an issue but if it's like you mentioned water resistant just not certified then it's acceptable. My concern is with camera and reliability. Heck I'm still reluctantly willing to accept ok cameras of OnePlus but reliability is super important. You mentioned the RUclips issue and I have OnePlus 6t and my biggest issue lagging and slowness particularly in RUclips and so it seems that problem is still present over 4 years newer model 😭
Them not having total support for TMobile may cause some issues with my need to possibly change carriers to move away from my parent's plan. Though if my valley finally gets WiFi, that would give a leg up to the OnePlus replacing my LG G7. Wish they could have reversed their headphone jack decision like Somy did.
How did you fare with upgrading your G7? I own this phone and am looking to upgrade but as it's running like it's brand-new (besides reduced battery life) it's almost impossible to justify many upgrade options. Love this phone, most reliable I've ever had, fair photo quality and excellent battery life the first three (!) years.
@@CREEPINGIRON Thanks for your input. I was going to get a new battery and keep the phone. Now I'm going to get a new battery and give it to my daughter. Such is life 😉

Battery: OP Camera: Pixel Speed and Smoothness: OP Smart Software features: Pixel Feel, build, and comfort to hold: OP Software support: Pixel Display: OP Software general (design and UX interactions): Pixel Haptics: OP Wireless charging: Pixel Fast charging: OP As you can tell...it's a bit of a toss up and depends on what you care about the most.
Great review! Personally I think OnePlus is doing a great job and should make two phones instead of one to appeal to different buyers: 1). “The Flagship” 2). “The Flagship Killer” I myself don’t mind spending a little more to get the best OnePlus has to offer as I think they have the best Android skin out there and a great software/security update life. OnePlus should prove their better than Apple, Samsung, and Google and live up to their motto for both types of buyers…Never Settle!
If not for curved display I would get It. After having 2 curved display phones I'm done with them. After s7 edge and oneplus 8 pro and spending all together like 150£ on curved screen protectors ill never get another one
Hi, loved your video, Can you please make a video/tell me what is the difference between S23 plus vs S23 ultra as according to spec sheet plus comes with 1080p display and ultra with QHD. Does this also mean plus can't play 4K videos on YT/Netflix. Also does a average user like me see difference via naked eye
No need for a video on just that. Yes, that’s correct. That’s been the case for a few generations now. If you look close you might bet able to tell depends on how good you can notice those types of things. Given how many people didn’t know they were running at 1080 in the comments of my tips and tricks videos, I imagine that number is low.
I also experienced lagging and turned down the 16+4GB RAM not to use internal storage to just 16GB and didnt spend that much time on RUclips since then but I didnt experience anything suspicious after yet. Can anyone else try the same?
Sadly the RUclips lag/stutter is still present after the A.09 update. I've read the comments below this video and it looks more and more that it is a general bug in OxygenOS 13. It seems to have something to do with Bluetooth as well.
@@ThisIsTechToday okay, thank you. I have the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and I'm not using them all the time but Bluetooth is active all the time and they stay connected even when I'm not using them.
Yeah! Second on the RUclips slowdown thing. My OnePlus11 just started doing it, but ONLY when I'm watching the video and trying to scroll the list of videos below it. Weird! Edit: so I turned off the RAM expansion option in the OS (so now I only have access to 16 GB RAM - oh well) and it fixed my issue. Maybe that is the issue?
Great review! As a new user of a Oneplus 11 I would like to ask you guys if you face a similar issue. When i put the phone in a case (a Foluu bought in Amazon), always on display and double tap gestures don´t work. Without the case everything works perfectly fine. I tried a reset but issue remains...does anybody experience this problem?
To the best of my knowledge, OnePlus never removed the volume rocker. It's always been on the left side and I'd never seen it go away. Lol. On the other hand, they did remove the alert slider on the one off 10T which put off a lot of people including myself. Frankly, OnePlus removing the alert slider is tantamount to Baywatch without the boobs. Either way, when you feel around for it and it's not there it's a total deal killer. By the way, thank you for the advice about using a case. Gee, a glass phone may get scratched if you don't use one; sage advice. Lol I really don't understand your comments about the design of the 11 being boring. Especially, when it comes to the rounded camera module. Personally, I think the design and the camera module looks ergonomic and quite futuristic. Furthermore, I think a differentiates them from other manufacturers like Samsung, Google and Apple. It's important for a product to have its own identity. After all, LG made some top notch devices but, they really never define themselves as a brand when it came to smartphones. To that end, they are not in the market anymore.
The OS is the deal breaker to me. My 7T has finally gotten Oxygen OS 12 and it's just Oppo's ColorOS. For me, I'll consider a Pixel for the software experience or a Galaxy for all round completeness.
The same for me! I have had the Nord 2 ce 5G for over a year now and have STILL not gotten the android 13 so I switched to a S23 and everything is just better!!
I was thinking about switching to pixel as well from my OnePlus 7t. But I'm not sure what software improvements pixel has. And moving my old data to a new platform might present issues.
Got op11 yesterday. Even I experienced my RUclips app lagging. At first i was trying to load high res videos and thought that was somehow causing the app to lag. But it started happening with all kinds of videos. Had to restart twice. Hope it's a bug that can be fixed with an update
@Monsterblooper not yet. The occurrence have come down though. Recently my RUclips shorts was stuttering. But force stopped the app and cleared cache. Seemed to do the trick
You can compare cell phone camera images at GSM Arena and rankings at DXO mark. OP 11 camera is the best ever but no iphone pixel or Samsung. GSM Arena Phone Camera Compare. I have the OP 8 and it is a great phone but the camera is lacking at times. The OP 9 10 and 11 improves the camera. The OP 9 Plus is your best value new on Amazon right now. Cheers.
Sn accurate well articulated review. Is the screen a 10 bit color depth or did I miss it? The soul of One+ was always its Oxygen OS. For everyday use and damn decent video and portraits.
Wireless charging is great for those that keep their phone for 12 months ... Because it's damaging to batteries . It heats up the battery and heat is a killer of batteries . 😭😭😭
That's a way more cynical conclusion than what I had of the phone and not only did I make the video, but I've used the phone. I've honestly struggled to decide if I'll use it as my main phone.
@@ThisIsTechToday I loved my OnePlus 7T Pro, for the interrupted screen, fast processor, nice screen, clean software, and the promise of long-term software support. Then it got stuck on A11, with a no-more clean UI, and the competition catched and surpassed it. In any way. I'm still a fringe smartphone user, as I decided to give a shot at Motorola with its Moto Edge 30 Ultra.

Phone is all around a beast, got one from eBay for 350,basically brand new, full battery health. This phone isn't a flagship killer it is a flagship that can compete with the likes of the Pixel 7/7 pro,S 23 plus and so on
RUclips often says "loading download states" when I'm trying to download a video for later viewing. Something weird I've never experienced on Samsung or OnePlus before.
Hey Brandon, Great video. I am looking at getting the oneplus 11 for my next phone, however the ip rating being lower is a bit scary for me since I am outdoors a lot. When you put the phone in the bowl of water was it fine afterwards? I don't think I would ever see more water on the phone than that. Thanks for any help and keep up the great work.
Hey, thanks for the kind words. Yeah, it was totally fine. I think you'll be fine :)
@@ThisIsTechToday Have you / could you dunk the whole phone or top half underwater? I assume the top half is just as sealed compared to the bottom. You've been nothing but helpful and when I pre order this I'll be using your link.
@@neverquit2923 i think like always they designed it for ip68 but just didn't get it tested for the higher rating but tested it just a bit to not keep the specs sheet blank and also not burn an unnecessary hole in our pockets. 62k INR phone would've been 66k phone in India had they tested for ip68 ig. So it's alright.
@@sambhrantpyakurel5774 thanks bro ❤
13:50 UFS is Storage. Not RAM.
Slip of da tongue. My bad.
100w dual port charger is coming soon on OnePlus website
I ordered the Oneplus 11, but I am also having YT issues on my Oneplus Nord N10.
It just keeps on loading on videos and forces me to restart the application. Though I have to say it helped me stop my RUclips short addiction it still shouldn't have to be this way!
Yeah, it's a bummer. Other than that, I really enjoy the phone!
Oh wow. That’s not a good sign to have those issues. So far no issue with photos on my end but yeah, that RUclips bug is a problem.
What's the RUclips bug?
Never mind I saw it in the video
I don't get this hard on for wireless charging which americans have. Lol
All these banging up for carbon neutral and sustainability but no you lot prefer a highly inefficient way of charging and inefficient like 50-60% of wired version (which already has some inefficiencies).
As mentioned, a cultural and regional difference. Read what the tweets say.
@@ThisIsTechToday I can understand cultural difference. What bugs me is when that cultural difference's make a complete 180 against the core ideology of the consumer.
Lol
One one hand - Sustainability, use Tesla etc.
Does it blend?
lol! I need a better blender to find out!
@@ThisIsTechToday I’ll be waiting for the follow up video 🤣😂
Yeah the youtube app also has same lag problem on my oneplus 7T pro
What, lol. That’s not okay. How is that still a thing?!
@@ThisIsTechToday It started after oxygen os 12 update
01.
Not yet.
I have 2 options
One is iPhone 13
Second is one plus 11
Which one to buy ??
Honestly, I've had a good experience with the OnePlusxOppo integration so I don't know why others are upset about it 🤷🏿♂️
Interesting. What have you liked about it?
Subbed for that marques level intro, solid video
Doesn't it have ip64?
Idk why reviewers miss out the fact that the op11 uses a downgraded usb 2.0 from 3.1 way back from OnePlus 8 series and never mentions as if it is not important. Just like wireless charging it is important to some people and not to others. Especially if u own an SSD.
Will this effect green line issue. That many OnePlus devices are effected with these days? OnePlus 8 to 9 series 🥲🥲🥲
Bro I'm typing on 6t now no issues here. I'm just afraid of the green line like my 9r
@@gauloiseguy I ended up getting a Nord N20 5G, I say if the phone still works just keep using it until you sense it's time to upgrade.

Thanks for your input.
I was going to get a new battery and keep the phone. Now I'm going to get a new battery and give it to my daughter. Such is life 😉
I am experiencing the same issues with youtube. Let me know if there is a fix now
Fascinating and sleek review! Thanks for the upload. Mighty helpful to get to know the phone better.
Thanks for watching!
Got mine today..my first one plus device and must say it is a great phone
great review!
what are your thoughts on the pixel 7 vs OP11? i'm planning to buy one of these but it's a confusing choice
Yeah, that's fair. I'm honestly struggling with that decision myself. Here are the breakdowns based on what you care about more.
Battery: OP
Camera: Pixel
Speed and Smoothness: OP
Smart Software features: Pixel
Feel, build, and comfort to hold: OP
Software support: Pixel
Display: OP
Software general (design and UX interactions): Pixel
Haptics: OP
Wireless charging: Pixel
Fast charging: OP
As you can tell...it's a bit of a toss up and depends on what you care about the most.
Did this phone have secure folder
I've had that RUclips lag on by OP7 too. Noticed it this past week otherwise its been okay all along.
Great review! Personally I think OnePlus is doing a great job and should make two phones instead of one to appeal to different buyers:
1). “The Flagship”
2). “The Flagship Killer”
I myself don’t mind spending a little more to get the best OnePlus has to offer as I think they have the best Android skin out there and a great software/security update life. OnePlus should prove their better than Apple, Samsung, and Google and live up to their motto for both types of buyers…Never Settle!
oh, that's an interesting way of keeping familiar branding but giving them room to go higher end. Clever. I like it!
OnePlus seriously needs to work on their camera game to compete against the iphone 14& s23 like the old days.
I have the one plus 7 pro need to update . But I won't doit with the 11 pro just cuz of the goofy round camera in the back.
Great review. Liked, subscribed. The flame point feline was a nice touch!
Wow what a beast of a deal talk about bang for your buck👌🏼
Great review bud
Thanks, Alex!
What about gaming?
If not for curved display I would get It. After having 2 curved display phones I'm done with them. After s7 edge and oneplus 8 pro and spending all together like 150£ on curved screen protectors ill never get another one
I've been facing the same RUclips problem that you mentioned on my OP11R 16+256
Can anyone else try the same?
why android smartphones even the highest variant tend to lag mostly all the time?
Any headphone reviews soon? I'd be interested to see open back headphones be compared if its possible to record it.
I think I'd need some open back headphones lol.
Sadly the RUclips lag/stutter is still present after the A.09 update.
I've read the comments below this video and it looks more and more that it is a general bug in OxygenOS 13. It seems to have something to do with Bluetooth as well.
bummer. The Bluetooth thing is interesting. I need to look into that.
I was a multiple OnePlus owner. They lost me with Color OS. Color OS, the OnePlus killer...
Hats off to u man! Best review ever! U deserve more subs! Can u plz do pixel 6a and oneplus 11 camera review!
I am experiencing heavy lag with the Instagram and the stock photos app as well
To the best of my knowledge, OnePlus never removed the volume rocker.
Lol
I really don't understand your comments about the design of the 11 being boring.
Interesting thoughts. Could use a better delivery. IGN 3/5.
@@ThisIsTechToday everyone's a critic.🤣
The hasselbad cameras are not even worth it I have the 7 pro and it's just fine .
Great video Brandon!
Thanks, Abel!’
Yes I have the same RUclips lag problem on my OnePlus 9. I thought it's only my device
Which one to buy between oneplus 11 and iphone 13
Completely different OS and ecosystems. Depends on which OS you prefer and perhaps even computer.
Apart from your content, love your acting skills too 😀👍
Haha. Thanks

Awesome Video. Thanks so much for the In-Depth Review.✌️
Sn accurate well articulated review.
Is the screen a 10 bit color depth or did I miss it?
The soul of One+ was always its Oxygen OS. For everyday use and damn decent video and portraits.
Deeper grooves at level 7....
Wireless charging is great for those that keep their phone for 12 months ... Because it's damaging to batteries . It heats up the battery and heat is a killer of batteries . 😭😭😭
I have it. The cameras aren't satisfactory. Everything else is amazing.
is there a better alternative than this phone though?
Yes I have the Lag too not only on youtube but other apps and its much worse when using the buds pro 2 with Bluetooth
This needs a fix! ASAP

Haptics, wow... No clean, stable software. No desktop mode. No special computational photography. No innovation. The haptics, wow...
Good luck with updates...😂
