Whenever I listen to this song, I make my dog sit with me. He's happy to do so, even if I have to wake him up to do so. That's unconditional love. I wouldn't be so kind if someone woke me up.
The song's theme is loss and remembrance in general although it does have an accent on the loss of a pet (although the lyrics fit just as well for the loss of close family, especially a young child). I suspect the video focused especially on pets because of the charity the band wished to bring attention to in the end section of the video. These guys really try to blend their music and their personal attempts to make the world around them a little better. They're a terrific bunch.
The message is universal, but they are clearly using pets as the vehicle. Which is pretty fricking cool. I mean, what other band sings a kickass song about losing a pet? Seriously, these guys are just special. 🤘 Next up, any one of these! First two are just straight bangers, third one tackles another heavy subject and is one of the heaviest. It's about losing a pet... This is actually how I found these guys... I lost my Booby-Doo after 9 years, and couldn't find a song that truly described that until this... I love them so much... All their songs.. Patreon high tier for two years now! ❤️❤️❤️
This guys are amazing. Not only are they great and amazing musicians, but they also put their talent and skill to a greater use other than themselves to call attention to social and mental issues and to help in any way they can. This one and the other one you reacted first never fail to bring a tear to my eye, no matter how many times I've heard them.
Thank you for the video. I saw Bloodywood for the first time last weekend at the SummerBreeze Festival. I was shocked, in a positive way. I am 52 years old and saw so many bands live. But i was crying and can´t stop it. Wonderful band.
After finding my father dead in his room, this song really helped me come to terms with the whole situation, and helped me realise that as long I as keep talking/telling stories about him to my son and my friends he is always here with me❤❤
I don't have a Dog, but experienced a lot of Love and comfort from dogs and Cats during my childhood, way more than from Humans. My first Cat reached the age of 17 before I had to put him to sleep because He suffered so much because of many health issues. I lost a part of my Soul this day. A "pet" can be more like family than your very own blood
This band and song is awesome..it's really heartbreaking that indians don't show there affection and love to this band. Thanku you brother you are doing great job of introducing indian metal band to the world.
Oh that got me tearing up too. These guys are not only amazing musicians but also amazing people. They deserve every success in their music as I know they will pay it back to those in need. The song resonates with me as I lost both parents inn2016, 3 weeks apart. I was lost for a very long time and still struggle at times. Thanks for your lovely reaction to this amazingly powerful song. X
I love these guys so much. I ball my eyes out every time I hear this song. We got to meet them after their London gig in 2019 and they are just as lovely in person!
oh hell this gives memories.... when this song came out last year i lost my father a month earlier to cancer... this songs helped me to get my emitions right... i am not a person who shows much emotions nor talking about it... even this song is about pets the massage can be carried over to every other aspect of live.... even now one and a half year later it kicks me... this is just a masterpiece
I cannot listen to this song without tearing up, no word of a lie. Beautiful lyrics. I also work and deal with a bunch of guys and gals from North India so I hear Punjabi and Hindi for about 10 hours a day.... I was absolutely shocked when I heard Jayant for the first time.... speaking of which... have you reacted to Machi Bhasad by Bloodywood yet? Now that is a powerful song, and very political. These guys are the best.
I've been a proud supporter of Bloodywood for almost 2 years now, and I've never been so proud to support anyone. You should definitely watch their documentary. It's funny as hell, and rather poignant at times. Bloodywood - Raj Against The Machine (Documentary) - ruclips.net/video/HIvzfULOJ70/видео.html
