Jokes about yakuza aside, seeing any father cheer on their child really makes my day. I had abusive parents and never believed parents would actually cheer on their children well into adulthood. I watched in disbelief as any parent would watch their kid in a soccer game or play or anything. I know yakuza is only a video game, but we rarely see parents supporting their children in such a supportive way in video games nonetheless. It's heartwarming to see regardless
Well that's because unlike other open world games where you are basically a criminal, the games have dull stories, dull characters made just for making money. Yakuza is different! It has great story, great characters and also actual depth to it! Where all the characters feel real. And they grow and develop as people. And I hope you are doing well in your life. A thought: This was the only Yakuza where Haruka is a playable protagonist, right? They missed an opportunity to flip the Premium Adventure script and have a Kiryu Trust level lol. Take Kiryu around town, let him chug Staminans or get in fights or play Mahjong or whatever until he gives and item and loves you
