When the director said he hopes the other studios think the same about Spider-Man & venom going toe to toe with each other, and he would love to see that happen. So would everybody, and I can guarantee the other studios want to see this. However I have a feeling marvel are waiting to see if Venom as a stand-alone movie is a massive success or not. Venom has to deliver if we’re going to ever see their paths cross.
Darknight 307 agreed, I heard ant man was originally a stand alone but it made money so they made it mcu. I think the same may happen to venom.
HorrorNation ant man was always in the mcu. It has falcon in it and the post credit scene also has cap and bucky. They go to an avengers base in the movie and there's references to Sokovia.

One of my favorite panels of 2018. I was there, it was fun and seeing Tom in person was so fucking cool. It's such a juxtaposition to see Tom here as a goofy, kinda shy guy to the intense, menacing, brutal characters he plays. Just goes to show you how fucking brilliant he is.

I'd say between a week and a month. They said the VFX are still rough and they want it to look top notch when it's fully released so it all depends on exactly how rough they are.
These two are fantastic actors, I just hope the director who doesn’t even know Vemon is an anti-hero. I have high hopes and expectations for this film. This better be R

There's absolutely no way MCU's Spider-Man is gonna be appearing with an R-rated character being set up with Venom. I still don't see how people believe that to be a legitimate possibility. Too much red tape between Sony and Marvel Studios.

Yes, though the talk is that it is looking to be going for an R rating. Now how far they go into that rating can spell out good things for future crossovers. If its just a gruesome scene or two, or a few f-bombs there's a good chance. But if we're talking hard R creature violence, there's no chance its crossing with Disney's Spider-Man.
Josh well Disney wants to make r rated films specifically with marvel. I'm sure they will have the two meet because if venom does great you know they are gonna want the most money they can get if toms venom in the mcu.

The latter could be good and MAYBE even better than Venom, but idc, I’m much more interested in Venom as a whole. Venom’s tone and look also appeals way more to me than Aquaman (and I love lighthearted and simply exciting CBM’s, which finally it looks like DC is going to start having some fun). But yeah, however it turns out, I’m more stoked for Venom.

In early production it was said that it's R rated.even if it's not confirmed yet,it should be R since Venom Bites someone's head off and the movie is part horror.(not saying that all horror films are R,but in this case,I think it will be R)
I will tell you a part of the San Diego trailer. "A mysterious man threatens a woman in a grocery store- Venom tells him that he will rip his head off. The man asks "who the hell are you?" half of Eddies face vanishes and the symbiote shows up who says "We are Venom" a second late he ripps off and devouers his head. Soon after the incident we again see Brock who turns to the woman he protected and casually says "good night" . IF THIS DOESN'T SOUND R RATED THAN IDK WHAT DOES
