Just found this guy today. He has really good skills. He is very Bensonesque. I would love to see him doing some bluesy stuff, since blues is the foundation for jazz. Some Grant Green funky Bebop stuff, blues, rock gospel, all of this could really help him shape his own style.
There are guitarists who can play words, a few few who play phrases, a few play in full sentences (and these are the ones regarded by most as "greatest" etc., including Rolling Stone) - and THEN you have guys like this who play in PARAGRAPHS, PAGES, CHAPTERS, and entire NOVELS - that is to say, they actually TELL A STORY with the guitar through intricately constructed melodies. They are the real guitarists and their worth is known to and recognized by other players.
You need to record some tunes with Phillip Bailey. Your as casual and confident as Jimi Hendrix if he were around long enough to record with Miles. I will assume George Benson is M1 on your speed dial on your iPhone.
Benson wes montgomery clone nice emulation would love to see this genius dvelop his own style and original material no more covers just your own stuff would be exceptionally good

I am like the Mick and Keith back in the 60s to create the 'fuzz /distortion tone' they punctured holes in the amp speaker cone. This kid shows that if you got mad skills it does not matter what shape or type of instrument you play as long is it is comfortable to play for hours and gets the approval of your audience. I can see him on future album releases. The next Ronny Jordan perhaps?
