    This video quite literally saved my ass today - I had a new hire coming in this morning and 30 minutes before I couldn't get their account to sign on to the computer. Turned out the device was indeed somehow deleted in AD. Thank you Kelvin for this helpful video! Liked and subscribed

    Thing is, the device I'm trying to sign into with this problem, is the server, so I can't change anything about it from the server because the device with the problem, is the server

    I am having same issue but the PC is not disabled and has not been deleted. The PC is not showing at all in AD. I do see the PC and can connect remotely using our CW tool. When logging in it does indicate that it is connected to our domain. Please if you have any suggestions!

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  3 года назад

      Hello Melissa, you could do the following
      Go to your domain server or computer where active directory service is installed. Launch Active Directory Administrative Centre > Select the right domain name and select Deleted Object. Search for the computer and see if it's there. If not, you will have to rejoin the computer to the domain.

    Hey..I got this issue after I renamed the computer. Can you tell me how I can fix this?

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, was this a domain computer? If this is a domain computer and you changed the name, it will not work. This means the computer does not more exist in your domain server. You could ask your IT Administrator for assistance

    What if the computer appears in your AD and not in deleted objects but, still has the trust relationship message?

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  Год назад

      Then you will need to check if the computer was disabled.

    I have a system that's deleted from AD, and it's not logging into the previous profile

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  2 года назад

      Hi, When a device is deleted from AD, you can restore it from Active Directory Administrative Center.
      Does the device not have a local admin profile?

      Is the problem now resolved? If this is an office laptop, you will need to contact your local IT help-desk to assist you fixed the problem. Probably a problem with the device and domain server

    What if the computer is not among the deleted objects?

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  3 года назад

      Hi Azel, Probably someone have deleted the computer from your deleted objects.
      If it is deleted from "deleted objects" you will not be able to restore it from Administrative center.

      Hi, can you check Active Directory Administrative Center to see if the device is deleted or listed there. Also check your Active Directory if the device is still there. You will need to delete the device from Active Directory before trying to join it again.

    I reinstall AD, and create the user manually, users can not login, the same error as your video provided. How can I solve this?

    • @Kelvglobal
      @Kelvglobal  3 года назад +1

      Hello Cheng, thanks for watching my video. Please can you verify the following:
      1. Can you check Active Directory if the users account is not locked out
      2. Can you check the user logon name in AD and make sure the right upn suffix is selected.
      3. The computer the user is using, can someone else logon to the domain environment from it? Ask another user to use the computer and see if it works for the user.
      4. Probably the computer is disabled in AD, check to be sure the computer is not disabled in AD
      Can you verify the above and please update if you were able to fix the problem or not.
      Thanks for reaching out.
