I gotta say they're both hot as the only woman in thirsty town! I want to buy a 4 tonight , but the 3 has my head spinning for the price. What do I do?
I’m still using my OG Galaxy Watch and this thing just goes and goes. Smooth and does everything I need it to do. I bought both versions of the newest watch plus had the Galaxy Watch 3 and 2. In my opinion none of them were truly worth the cost over what my OG Galaxy Watch does for me. Plus I get 4-5 days battery life out of it. The new watches were great but I just couldn’t justify the cost so I returned them and went back to the OG. I’m happy. Does what I need.
i second your thoughts the galaxy watch is a beast the newer watches gw 4 &5 don't have the samsung email. i also had the gw 4classic lte version and that watch overheated on every call within 30 seconds. on my Gw had at least a 30 minute conversation without any issues. ill keep my Gw until it dies.

CJ great review! I do like the design of the GW3 more. It looks more classy. Also the band size (22mm) seems more logic for the size of the watch. Big watches should have big bands.
Regardless, you have mistaken de ppi density for the watch3. If the scree is 360 pixels width, then 360/1,4=257 dpi . The watch4 is 450/1.4=321dpi. The more the pixels per inch, more density.

I've been using the galaxy watch 4 for a month or so now. I had the Galaxy watch 3 before that, and I still kind of miss Tizen. I also liked the watch faces through the Galaxy store. That said, amazing watches.

question: I haven't seen you post many videos on the S22 ultra-new leaks. coming from the Note 10 Plus, would you upgrade to the note 20 ultras or wait for the S22 ultra? my biggest gripe as you know is the note 10 plus camera. it's not bad but it's not that good either, it's just average. as soon as you move or the person moves it's blurry. this is the main reason why I'm looking forward to trading it in for a new phone. what are your thoughts? hopefully, when the S22 ultra comes out you will do a camera comparison between the note 10 plus, note 20 ultra, and S22 ultra so we can see who the real winner is

bought the gw4 classic lte version had to return it kept overheating went back to my og galaxy watch it does what i need it to do which is allows me to stay connected without having my phone on me.

I have it both. The best improvement for me is that that GW4 has Google Pay and the flat buttons looks better.
And, yes, silver one with silver metal band looks much better and elegant !!

I have the regular (cheaper) 44mm Galaxy Watch 4 paired to my Pixel 6 Pro and I get right around two days without AOD. I had to hack away at it to get Samsung Health Monitor to work, but there is one other change that finally makes it a good alternative to my Apple Watch - Finally, media control automatically come up when I listen to music AND the bezel controls the volume now. It may be first world problems, but I hated having to tap the little music icon, then tap the volume and then finally adjust the volume on my ancient Gear S3.
I got the GW4 44mm two days ago...

Have both versions and you are right . It depends on how you use the watch on if you want to buy. There are settle differences between the two so upgrade really isn't necessary (only if you want to I would say) for new buyers though definitely go with the latest, and that's obvious being that the platform has switched.

I'm thinking about getting the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic but how big is the band? Is it able to fit big wrists, like NFL offensive lineman sized wrists? I'm about that size.
They have two sizes on the bands get the large. As far as 3rd party bands you can research their sizing
Bro you forgot to mention that the Galaxy watch 4 does not connect with iOS so for the ones who are planning to upgrade their watch and might connect with both android and iOS I would suggest to go for galaxy watch 3.
My gear s3 from 2016 is still going strong, so not too worry about hardware being outdated.
However wear os probably gives access to more apps
You forgot to mention that, beacuse of new Wear OS in GW4, some of the best watch faces are not available for GW4. URARITY, BERGEN , S4U, they have the best watch faces, but most of their watch faces are not available for GW4 beacuse of that new Wear OS.

Great video, CJ! I averaged around 49 hours on my Galaxy Watch 4 with the always-on display turned off. My Galaxy Watch 4 Classic averages around 41 hours with the always-on display activated. Both watches are the larger versions. Keep up the great work, brother!

That’s probably why then, I think the lte version saps battery juice pretty quickly. Only lasts 12hrs.

Galaxy Watch is my favorite watch because it looks better but I also like my Apple Watch a lot too. But I'm very disappointed that the Galaxy Watch no longer supports ios tho...
@@CJKnowsTECH I feel like both companies fight each other so much that they don’t want anything to be cross platform anymore. Bad for the consumer but the name of the game is locking you in the “ecosystem”.
I never liked the watch 4 since I upgraded from the Active 2. I just purchased a Watch 3 renewed. I'll let you know what I think when I get the 3

Just bought a Samsung Galaxy watch 4 classic. 😁
Overall think watch 4 is better but still buggy and just got a watch 3 for 100 renewed hard to beat that price for what you get maybe if they continue with Google I will get a watch 5 or 6 when all bugs worked out happy with watch 3 for now 🙂
I def love my GW4. But I do think the watchface platform on Tizen was easier and more enjoyable to switch faces more frequently. Just my opinion anyway. Everything else with the watch is more enjoyable to me on the new Wear OS platform.

After wearing it for a full day with lots of notifications and my AOD on, brightness at 7... when I take it off to charge it I have anywhere between 50 and 75%. Just depends on which watchface I use. GW4 Classic 46mm.
I agree with the watch faces on the watch 3. On the watch 4 I use facer but I find those watch faces drain the battery alot. Usually get 2.5 days on my watch 4 with AOD off and 3 days on the watch 3
Samsung Galaxy watch 3 or 4 have a terrible heart rate problem, always missing data in middle of workout.

My GW3 has better battery life than my GW4. At least 20% better (if not more) under the exact same conditions. In theory, the GW4 should be faster...unfortunately that hasn't been my experience (and if you search online, you'll discover I am definitely NOT alone in this). I've found Tizen to be superior in almost all ways (short of app development). Smoother interface, virtually zero hiccups or glitches and the watch just works. My experience with my GW4 has been...disappointing to say the least and this has really saddened me. I'd have preferred Samsung to keep TIzen and make it faster over what I ended up with. I AM still hoping for updates from Samsung that could possibly correct these problems...but considering Wear OS's history, I'm not holding my breath.
I picked up the 4 classic with that same stainless steel band, and oh man does it look good ;)
I'm honestly a fan, and the battery's consistently lasted around one and a half days for me.

I own an iPhone. I personally think the galaxy watch is better than iPhone watch. It has the ring The iPhone does not. It has many better watch faces. And for the galaxy watch three it has iPhone compatibility. Samsung removed that on the four.I think if you are looking at getting a galaxy watch and deciding between the four and three You should choose the 3. It’s basically the same watch. Except you’re saving a lot of money if you buy the three. You can get it for Under $150.
I bought the Galaxy 4 and living in South Africa the most important features are not allowed here. ECG and BP 😭 And to top it off I have a deep scratch on my screen after week 1. Bluetooth Range also utterly pathetic. Really sad for investing so much money on this watch.
