What a great day! Nothing beats the waves and peace . And to think it's all free. The kids nowadays don't realize what they're missing! Lol Thanx Dale n Angel
Gorgeous day and gorgeous views ! Angel is so beautiful and so precious! I loved watching her swim too! I bet she loved it! Have a wonderful week Dale and Angel. I am trying to recover from Major Surgery and sure do enjoy your videos Dale! , Patricia Huff , Kernersville, NC
So beautiful! I loved the "stump"! What a good place to sit and just take in the ocean, while catching your breath! I hope you and Angel have a great week!
Thank you. Needed some relaxing time, and you provided it. You are a lucky man - what a wonderful companion! So nice to see her enjoy herself. Our companions teach us what is important . Thanks again.
Angel is such a sweetheart. She was so proud to have recovered that stick you threw for her. I hope her foot is ok. She certainly didn't let it ruin her day. I think she is happy just being with you. You are a wonderful dog-dad..
Oh Dale, isn’t God incredible? Look what he created! And you my dear, are a gate keeper of all that beauty. You are a kind soul to recognize, and share this with us! This was so much information, and I enjoyed learning about the herring! Who knew? It has got to be invigorating to inhale the fresh air, and that sweet Angel get exercise with her best Pal ever! I hope you go home and enjoy a quiet cuppa! Well done, take care. 🕊🙏🥰🙋♀️
A beautiful cove. We have a salt water beach park on the sound close by that I love to visit. Our beach is more rocky than sandy but still a nice walk. Occasionally see a whale or two. Breezy there more often than not but always refreshing. Enjoy your visits to the beach with Angel.
Good to see you on another hike with Angel ! I have been to see the high and low tides in Nova Scotia at the far northern tip; quite dramatic. I see the difference between high and low tides at your location is more than an average ocean cove, for sure. Yes, interesting difference in pronunciation of the word "weir" as is "Weir's Beach "at Laconia, NH on the biggest lake in New England, Lake Winnipesaukee. Oh and on a day like today, I'm glad to see Grand Manan Island from your location.
A pleasant walk with Angel. I miss living close to the ocean. But, I am blessed to live in a County in Minnesota that has more lakes than any other county in the USA. (Otter Tail County)
Wow Dale, that was awesome. The glorious ocean/surf/wind sounds took me back to my beach days when I lived in Florida. I really needed this today- you are fantastic. I literally could listen to your voice forever. It is so nice to hear all the information about the area and weather and just all of your narration. This was just epic- you are the best- thank you so very much. Give Angel a big old hug for me. I can't remember if the fur on the bottom of a dogs foot keeps sand out or if you need to keep the fur trimmed so it can't trap dirt and sand. I know Jess at gone to the snow dogs channel trims her siberian huskies foot pads to prevent dirt capture but not sure if it is a dog thing or a breed thing. Maybe trimming the pads might help with the sand. Thanks again for a wonderful video.
I love these "walk on the beach" videos :-) My daughter has a lovely little cottage over at the beach and I hope to go for a visit soon to collect seaweed and shells for my compost piles. I recall you lamenting last summer how you felt like some of your your gardens did poorly? Perhaps they would benefit from a nice cover of seaweed for the winter too. You're very fortunate to have all that free fertilizer so close by. Anyway, something to think about :-)
Hi Dale, Absolutely beautiful scenery! Thanks for sharing this! Omg, lol Angel maybe that swim will get the sand out of your paw. Nice drift wood too. Now I did not know that herring is sardines; I guess we do learn something every day. Dale you and Angel certainly got your exercise in! Can't wait for you to bake something; really enjoyed your scones last year. Best Regards, Yvonne in SC.
Thank you Yvonne . Angel loves the water even on days when the surf is too strong to let her go in swimming she keeps bringing me sticks wanting me to throw them for her. Eccles cake video coming out tonight .
Wow, I didn't know herrings and sardines were the same fish! Interesting! I hope angel didn't cut or get something stuck in her paw. Salt water will help heal.
Thank you for sharing Dale. It must be so nice to get to go out and walk on the beach all the time. I know I would if I lived there. Angel is such a sweetheart. If you don't mind me asking, how old is Angel? She looks like she is pretty young. Beautiful girl.
Thank you Amy. I'm not sure of Angel's age I have had her for 3 years and 4 months but she is a rescued dog from the SPCA and I don't know how old she was when I got her.
Fundy's tides are the highest in the world because of an unusual combination of factors: resonance and the shape of the bay. The water in the Bay of Fundy has a natural resonance or rocking motion called seiche. ... The bay's shape and bottom topography are secondary factors contributing to Fundy's high tides. The world's largest tidal range of 16.3 metres (53.5 feet) occurs in Bay of Fundy, Canada, and the United Kingdom regularly experiences tidal ranges up to 15 metres (49 feet) between England and Wales in the Severn Estuary. Just looked it up, take care all.
Lovely walk and views Dale. Angel sure enjoys swimming in the ocean and glad the two of you get out often. Wondering if you will go down there today for a view as we are having “King Tide” here today on the New Hampshire coast. Do you get that as well?
I'd love to be there enjoying that beautiful day! I definitely would be someone scouting out pretty stones and anything unusual!! I could almost feel the breeze. Thank you for sharing most interesting information on herring!! Take care now.
There was a tree that washed upon a beach, the nearest city wanted to remove it because unsightly. People started decorating with shells making a wish calling it our gift from the sea. Peace.
Dale, as you panned from right to left at 9:49, beyond the headland to your left you can see other islands on the horizon, or is that actually the mainland?
I was a bit late on the live its hard. Oh I would be fishing on the beach ;-) The wear for the fishing is interesting. I could spend a lot of time on that log. Your temps are about the same as ours. But we had a lot of rain no frost as yet. Good ;-) Its beautiful where you are. I miss the sea. A friend of mine polishes stones they come out amazing But I like the gold lol.. Hope Angels foot is ok. My dogs get a thorn or a pine needle sometimes in the woods here.
At least your live broadcast was right side up LOL. You never see people fishing from the beach here if they are fishing from the land rather than in a boat they are always on a pier. So far I have only seen there one lite frost here. I think it is just teasing me though my fall peas are under fleece and in full bloom waiting to be killed by a heavy frost. Yes Angels foot is ok that was the first time she had that problem in months but it was just some sand in between her pads.
Can’t say I’m not happy about no Live videos...I don’t really care for the Live videos ...the personal interaction is so distracting. I won’t usually watch them if I see they are LIVE - no matter who does them and if so, and they don’t say...not for long 😕. Beautiful meander 🙂 Angel’s so a sweet dog...love her disposition...Ear rubs to Angel!
What a great day! Nothing beats the waves and peace . And to think it's all free. The kids nowadays don't realize what they're missing! Lol Thanx Dale n Angel
Thank you Gerald I agree.

Yes it is more dramatic north of here we are at the extreme southern end of the bay.

That's very nice Sandra this one seems to be appreciated by a lot of people too.
Nice video

Dale, as you panned from right to left at 9:49, beyond the headland to your left you can see other islands on the horizon, or is that actually the mainland?
No that is a small group of island collectively called the Wolves , uninhabited but one has a lighthouse on it.

Honey, you are a good parent to Angel; but I think she walks you and not the other way around.
LOL I think you are right .
Home grown veg would be in ecstasy over the amount of seaweed he could collect for fertilising his garden.
After the hurricane a month ago there was enough to fill many large trucks.
Poor Angel lol
LOL
