That’s a blended technique, if your intention is to play comfortably at a certain speed and you can with that technique then great. If your goal is to isolate your fingers and get the fastest single strokes possible using proper finger technique then work on controlling the motion with just your fingers, your wrist will move slightly with your fingers but it shouldn’t be generating the motion.
Thank you for teaching us, properly instead of just showing off. 🥁😊
The camera angle is top-notch. It is so easy to see what exactly is being done
Long way to go still, I can barely go that fast with doubles 😅
You'll get there
@@PrinceAsmodeus working on it every single day ✌️😊
@@Coastfog 🤘🤘
Damn! You're doing that with Promark BYOS marching sticks?? Wow. Great technique!
Very Good now can I see the left hand using
the Traditional Grip with the finger control.
Bada Bing - Bada Boom!!!🥁
Good thing is there are options out there, traditional is only one of them
such a good angle to learn from. thanks!
Need those fingertips to be around the stick resting there between that top knuckle and middle knuckle.

Question on this, you you using fingers in the double stroke all the time? Even when its really fast?
@@Barneybeats I use just wrist when it’s slow and fingers when it’s fast.
Thank you ❤
Left hand pls
so is it more like using 70% finger and 30% wrist? CMIIW
Is it the finger motion or the wrist
Fingers ❤
is that stick no.2?
i believe it is the Promark BYOS marching stick
I have a question if my wrist is my wrist slightly moving ok or is it now not considered finger technique

the sticks look heavy for me😂
Heavy sticks build muscle 💯😁
What the fuck is that drumstick size
That’s a marching stick! It’s the Promark signature Ralph Nader and Harvey Thompson stick. Marching sticks help build muscles 💯🥁
💯👏👍✌️🍺🇮🇹
Wrong 😂. Tooooo much fingers; it’s 10% luck, 20% skill 40% wrist, 15% arm, 5% fingers..
This middle school man, only fingers 😂
