    Awesome series! Really like this type of content Jangho ❤ what’s the reason (or reasons) the Japanese technique prefers cleaning at the hip than thigh?

    • @WeLiftWeights
      @WeLiftWeights  4 месяца назад +1

      It's because most coaches in Japan teach the hip clean as the correct method of cleaning. It's like that in many parts of China as well

    hii, can you make video on how to make programs for new lifters... or can you give us the weightlifting program for beginners. actually i am new in weightlifting and i have no idea how to make daily workout, what i am doing is copying some workout from elite athletes which i think is not helping me. so can you help my type of people

    Love these vids. Your comment about the girl with longer legs cleans from the thighs vs hips. I’m 6’2.5 so should that be a focus for me being really tall?

    • @WeLiftWeights
      @WeLiftWeights  4 месяца назад +1

      It really depends on your body proportion. Also, if you feel good doing hip cleans, I don't think you have to switch

    Hi Jangho! Do you know why korean style seems to be more influenced by European style while japanese style seems to be more closed and isolated?

      @@user-rt3le3xy6z I heard that he mentioned it but I was asking for some kind of explanation in case he knew it.

      I don't know 100% for sure and obviously I can't say this about all the athletes and coaches, but a lot of Korean coaches seem to follow the "textbook" European method. In Japan, I get the impression that each coach has their own interpretations and unique teaching methods when it comes to technique. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it's definitely unique from the typical European style of lifting.

    how do they understand each other what language are they speaking together

    • @guswilliams9603
      @guswilliams9603 4 месяца назад

      I would assume they communicate through both Japanese and Korean. I'm sure the Japanese lifters know some Korean and vice versa, and bilingual coaches and athletes help translate.
