    hi! I traveled to MX. with advanced parole. My nerves were on edge the entire time!
    Thankfully coming back, the border patrol agent was THEE nicest lady ever. She was very happy for me. I’m glad you got your experience this too.

    I dont have DACA, and I'm not American, but you guys are so strong and courageous to go through such a complex immigration system. I hope you get to live in the US for the rest of your life. Hugs from the UK ❤🇬🇧

    My husband applied and we are going to Honduras to visit his aunt next week! Its been 21yrs since he was there. Im so excited for him and cant wait to experience this with him. We also met with a lawyer to ask about the next step to get his residency. Hearing your experience is very reassuring that everything will be okay!

    Did you have any unlawful presence? /:
    My grandma just passed and I feel like I need to go to El Salvador, but I did accrue unlawful presence and a lot of lawyers say to not risk it 😣

    • @JazminMoreno-e2h
      @JazminMoreno-e2h 4 месяца назад

      She said she was 22 when she left and had only 2 years with daca so she had two years of unlawful presence if I did understand correctly

    • @BettyMoralesR
      @BettyMoralesR  4 месяца назад

      I didn’t have unlawful presence, I arrived when I was 3 but never encountered immigration. I got advanced parole when I was 22 I believe and with that I left and renetered giving me legal entry. I’m sorry I can’t give you feedback on advanced parole with unlawful presence but I would definitely say take your attorneys advice.

    • @BettyMoralesR
      @BettyMoralesR  4 месяца назад

      I believe unlawful presence is when you where caught by immigration and are in the system as being here illegally. If you are here unlawfully but never encountered immigration or went before an immigration judge you are not in the system therefore you don’t have an unlawful presence label. So I was not in the system as here illegally before I left to Mexico with advanced parole, if that makes sense.

    Omg girl I wish I could tell you my AP story when I went to Mexico last December but in my experience everything was a smooth process and no one gave me a hard time. I flew in and out of Mexico city, the part where you said you would run away like you stole something made me laugh loud 😂😂😂 anyways we did and I had anxiety coming back.

    My opinion….the drama doesn’t seem worth it. Why even go then? It doesn’t make sense to go through the horror u described the entire time and to make matters worse, not even enjoy it. Just sayn.

      Because it benefits Daca recipients in the future, it’s worth the risk with nerves and everything. I think it’s pretty normal to be scared

    • @maecyarthur1428

      It’s how people with DACA can adjust their status to lawful entry if they entered without inspection and then they can have a path towards citizenship. Very worth it!!
