We went to the British music experience a couple of years ago and loved it, Liverpool is a magical place we try to go a couple of times a year , nice video 😊
Loved this Stu, Liverpools near to me so i go quite often, always loads to see and do, ive not yet been to the British Music Experience but it definitely looks worth a visit 😀 I think we may of found the fifth Beatle 😁 great video as always.
As always thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks Stu. My wife and i are enjoying the new format of the StuView on tour series. Although he wasn't British, Ronnie James Dio was amazing in Rainbow and Sabbath, and he hired British musicians when he created his own band. He is definitely my GOAT singer - what a huge voice from a tiny man.
What a day for taking all your clothes off, standing upside down and saying 'how's that for New Faces' Happiness, happiness, the greatest thing that we possess.......RIP Ken
My beautiful home city of Liverpool. Glad you enjoyed it here mate. Don't forget the other famous people and bands form here such as Echo and The Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes. Frankie Goes to Hollywood and loads more.
Hello Stu🙋♀️ I really enjoyed your tour of the “British Music 🎶 Experience” and the City of Liverpool. The museum reminded me, a little bit of “Rock Circus” which was located in the Trocadero in London, and owned by Madame Tussaud’s. There were headphones, and there was music 🎶 to each rock/pop star🌟 Sadly it is long gone... Keep up the good work...
Looks like you both had a fantastic time !! Nice to see a lot of rock music in evidence. And Beatles, of course. I'd never heard of this British Music Experience, or the Hard Day's Night Hotel before. I went to the waterfront a few years ago to go on the ferry cross the Mersey for the first time, and saw those Beatles statues then and had my picture taken with them. It looks like a great day out, and as I'm not far from Liverpool, I might give it a try. Thanks, Stu.
Ah yes Stu, let’s have more of these videos please. This is a crackin’ video with a good bit of nostalgia and also very informative. In Glasgow we have the Glasgow City Music Tour which is well worth a visit! If your ever up this way happy to share a pint or two with you. Thanks for making and sharing. All the best to you and yours.
I think you did my friend but they've long gone out of my head now. You know, I can't remember what that Les Paul was. I was so busy filming I forgot to check the info!
I used to get into Liverpool regularly but it was always with work and it was the mid 90's so not quite the place it is now. Somewhere I've always wanted to go and just play the tourist in but alas the health won't let me now so thanks for the day out if only from my sofa.
I used to drum when I was a teenager. I was in a band and everything! We'd do mainly hard rock and metal. My biggest (and only!) claim to fame is playing at The Stables in Milton Keynes. We had a blast! I'd like to think I'm more Phil Colins, the best drummer ever! Great seeing Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Saxon etc. represented at that museum, so many places seem to omit hard rock and metal like it's something to be ashamed of. Didn't see any Genesis there though, which would deduct points!
@@stuviewtv Thanks! Will watch again. So many great artists from Liverpool in those days. I really got into music when the Beatles released 'She Loves You'. Edited to add: I stand corrected about Cilla. In my humble defence, as I started playing the video the phone rang to say there is a burst water pipe on our road and our water has been turned off!
@@stuviewtv Thanks Stu! There are a couple of vans a bit further down the road and have just seen one of the men carrying a pipe. Luckily already have some bottled water in. In the 'olden days' they used to drive around with a loudspeaker saying "Your water is being turned off. Please draw some water" but they no longer do that, so we don't find out until it is actually turned off. Not moaning though. Lucky to have some bottled supplies for any emergency that may arise. Thanks again. Have now watched it a few times! Glad you had a good time and good weather to go with your trip.
Sorry Stu, I've neglected my subscribed videos lately. I've never been to Liverpool before, it looks great. You looked really cool with that guitar and you should start a new band called, get ready for it 'The Stu viewers'! Anyway, just out of interest, which city or town, do you hail from? 👍🏻🎶🤗

The fifth Beatle - I love that! Don't think I've got enough hair to qualify though. 😉
@@stuviewtv 😁
I will not get to Britain and this was wonderful. Thankyou so very much 🇦🇺😊❤️
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
Great to see and thanks for sharing. Rock on! 👍
Thanks Michael!
Great video Stu , these tour videos are awesome. Did not realize there was a British music museum in Liverpool , what better place to have that.
So glad you are enjoying the new tour videos. They are a lot of fun to make! Yes, you're right - what better place than Liverpool for a music museum?

Such a rich music legacy and a great city.

Great video - nostalgia at its best. You did miss a trick though - should have got a shot of the Ferry Cross The Mersey!
Should have done yes! Glad you enjoyed the video. Many thanks!
Thank you for this. So many great memories. Thank you. 😊👍
Glad you enjoyed the memories Stephen. Many thanks as always!

Yes, definitely a great time! The Hard Days Night is on the corner of Mathew Street where the Cavern Club is, so it's perfect for Beatles fans.
Love the 70s 80s. Must visit this place. Thanks. 👍
It's definitely worth a visit.

Ace video.
Thanks!
Enjoyed that - Thanks!
That's great to hear! Thanks.
Now - our Stu - I'm sure I taught you some chords a way back!
What was that signed Les Paul up behind Midge Ure's HH Strat there?
I think you did my friend but they've long gone out of my head now. You know, I can't remember what that Les Paul was. I was so busy filming I forgot to check the info!

Yes, it's great there is a rock section there. Can't recall seeing anything Genesis related.
I may have missed it, but no mention of Cilla Black who also performed at The Cavern. Loved Gerry and the Pacemakers, too.
One of the legendary Cilla's dresses was shown on display quite early in the video.

Lovely to finally see your face! I've been to this exhibition, and it's ace!
Absolutely, it's a great place.
Great to see the face behind that iconic voice on RUclips.
Thank you!
You look a lot different to how I pictured you. I imagined you looked something like Leonard Rossiter.
