Beautiful, funny, a little naughty, a leader, and unafraid. She was, indeed the First Lady of Comedy in the silent era, but that 'unafraid' got her into the wrong things later on that led to her, far too early, demise.
Thank you. My brother Timothy (the book's author) was doing a book signing somewhere, and he needed a short film to show. So I made this over one weekend of no sleep, and 47 cups of coffee. I laugh when I watch it now, because that's exactly what it looks like. Glad you liked it. Tom
Goodnight, sweetheart. Lovely, funny, talented, unafraid, progressive, determined and yes, a bit sexy. She made her own films at a time when no woman did and starred with the biggest male comedians of her day. Lost far too soon. How she would have made the transition to sound, we'll never really know, but one figures she would have.
Mabel Normand was really special 🌞🤣👍🙏❤❤❤💯👍🌞🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
A forgotten genius, a director of quality and the funniest lady ever to perform.
I very much agree. Great comment
Fast editing, yikes
