The Walking Dead: Season Two, a five-part game series that continues the story of Clementine, a young girl orphaned by the undead apocalypse. Left to fend for herself, she has been forced to learn how to survive in a world gone mad.
Many months have passed since the events seen in Season One of The Walking Dead, and Clementine is searching for safety. But what can an ordinary child do to stay alive when the living can be just as bad - and sometimes worse - than the dead?
As Clementine, you will be tested by situations and dilemmas that will test your morals and your instinct for survival. Your decisions and actions will change the story around you, in this sequel to 2012’s Game of the Year.

Your choice at the end was fine, you showed loyalty, Kenny was a broken man but he was a broken family man and Clem was family to him. This episode was wild for real, keep it up girl! Don't take the choice % too seriously for the last choice cuz there are multiple endings in season 2 (hope you react to them as well!). My ending was this: I know Kenny can be violent and difficult to deal with butis also a good man deep down that would sacrifice everything for his loved ones. I liked Jane too but I lost respect for her when 1) she brought up Sarita in the arguement. She did have a point about Kenny but bringing someone's dead family into an arguement is a low blow 2) her whole plan was very stupid, staging AJ's death to get a rise out of Kenny and being like "you're gonna see what he really is"??? Girl you made it seem like you abandoned a defenseless infant, anyone, especially a parental figure would snap at you, bffr XD. And then I stayed at Wellington. It was hard to let Kenny go but I felt it was best for the kids to be in such a big and safe community and it was a bittersweet ending, a sad but also hopeful goodbye 🥲💔

Jane is a unique character but she was very unreliable and selfish. And the more I watch these playthroughs the more I question that stupid ending. Jane hiding the baby to prove "a point" lol? I think everyone knew what Kenny would do if he found out someone killing an innocent baby that he sees as his child. Hell, most dads would want kill a person like that. So why would anyone even consider picking Jane? I guess the writers tried to trick gamers to think that Kenny is a bad guy but come on. He clearly had good intentions all the time and the violence with Arvo was because he just wanted to protect the group.

I think, deep down, Jane just wanted her sister back, or a substitute. I also don't believe she intended to abandon AJ, just stash him somewhere safe while she planned to win over Clementine and get rid of Kenny in one fell swoop.

Tbh I don’t really care if she wanted her sister back or not, Jane isn’t a great person. Really the only good thing she does is teach Clem how to take down Walkers. That’s it. At the end season 2 she’s purposely trying to tick Kenny off so that she can look like the victim.

Picking Kenny over Jane is the right choice, and it's proven with his sacrifice here and in the next season when you see what happens if you stay with Jane.
And as someone mentioned, the reason the precentage is so low is because there's like 4 ( or maybe even 6) different possibilities, not just two like most choices.

I think what’s so interesting about kenny in this season is he never tried to betray ANYONE yet everyone tried to betray him. I can’t believe Bonnie and Mike were willing to let two kids die by leaving us with no supplies, and it shows Kenny’s TRUE character that he really was trying to do what was best for EVERYONE, and in the end he was right. On my recent season 1 playthrough I had some issues with kenny because of the usual things, but you can’t deny he was always trying to do what he believed was best and that’s important in this kinda world. Also Jane is absolutely batshit for comparing carver to kenny, I knew she was wrong when she said “he had a nice job”. Kenny worked as a fisherman which is kinda obvious, that immediately shows she’s a bad judge of character and was projecting. And I think the conversation in the car really shows Kenny’s true loyalty.
    Loving this playthrough so much

Wow! I remember how intense this episode was when I played it a year ago. A person might not always know what to expect, or what to do in a crisis situation, except panic-maybe.
Given what Kenny had been through, loss of his family, getting beaten half-to-death by Carver, lack of sleep and OH YES walkers etc., could explain Kenny's arrogant behaviour as Serita and Jane were trying to convey to Clem. I think Kenny was about to undergo a near to complete nervious breakdown, causing him to make some irrational decisions. However, these actions did not define or show his true-balanced, good-spirited nature.
On the other hand, I think Bonnie was wrong, when trying to help rescue Luke from the lake-that was on her. Clem would have succeeded either way and she did not weigh as much as Bonnie. But then, that just leaves open the question "What if.." ?

I sadly don't like Kenny much because of him going violent and cause his groups to have an argument and never listens to them but I understand that you and the viewers like Kenny and do the ending with him. I just feel like he's the reason we lost the groups because his actions but again I understand your choices and everyone liking Kenny. If you shoot Kenny and save Jane, she even explains that she planned all of that out, and you get the option to tell her she's fucking crazy and that you're not going anywhere with her. Solo Clem and AJ is a bittersweet ending, but one that transfers best into season 3 imo. I don't think Kenny is as good as some people are praising him to be in the comments. He's authoritarian, impulsive, reckless, and tends to lose his temper in situations where a more measured approach would get him closer to his own goals better than flying off the handles. And I really liked Jane all the way up until the last episode. She was exactly that calm, pragmatic approach that I was looking for without being downright psychopathic - she's traumatized and has boundaries, but she still is overall decently moral and shows herself to have more empathy than she'd like to admit.
This episode ruined her for me. From the moment Clem wakes up in the car, she's nothing but a manipulative, short-sighted egotist. What exactly was her plan here? To create a physical confrontation with a dangerous enemy on an even field in a situation where *obviously* the safety of the two children should come first and foremost? Dumb. Selfish. Short-sighted. Between the two options, I'd personally choose neither, but if I had to pick one of them, I guess Kenny's heart is in the right place.

I still don't understand why some people are so biased to see a person can changed. I guess that's why some people got trapped into toxic relationship. Usually that's the reason, it always too late to realize and to act on it. There are a lot of red flags on Kenny. Jane didn't leave the baby in the car to die, she only making a ruse to prove a point that Kenny is a dangerous man. And people forgot that Clem is just a kid.

    • @kolcheks
      @kolcheks 6 месяцев назад +10

the whole point is that jane left aj in an abandoned car where he easily could’ve froze to death just to prove a “point” that wasn’t even valid because kenny had every right to resort to violence if jane made him think she purposely left aj to die/got him killed. plus yes, clem is just a child, making it even worse for jane to make this crazy plan to manipulate a child to be on her side.

    • @Mercurial_Phantom

      - Jane taught Clem how to survive, she cares about Clem.
      - Nobody dies freezing in a car.
      - Jane did stand down but Kenny attacks her regardless.
      - Jane is a woman and Clem is a little girl, realistically she will be protecting herself and a little girl from a broken racist aggressive man with loudmouth.
      - people like Kenny because he's a character in the previous game, like I said people forgot that a person could change. It is the same sentiment with Luke Skywalker in Star Wars.
      - It is a dilemma for writers, it is either they sacrifice the more realistic story arc for fan service or face fans rage for messing with the character fans love so much.

I always find it funny how some people try to desperately justify killing Kenny and going with Jane by saying that Kenny is an angry, uncontrollable monster while ignoring the fact that Jane is much worse than he is. Jane is a sociopath manipulator who always thinks about herself first.
It's obvious that Kenny has a lot of problems but at least he's aware of them and tries to do something about it. Jane on the other hand sees problems in everyone but herself. What's especially funny is how Jane, a person who knows the least about Kenny tries to show Clementine, a person who knows the most about Kenny, who Kenny really is.
When you put aside Kenny's annoying anger outbursts and think about it all, despite how deeply flawed he is, Kenny is the best option for Clementine. He was always the one to push the group forward and he actually cared about Clementine and AJ; Clem also knows and understands Kenny so when things would get tough she'd know how to get to him. This wouldn't work with Jane because in the end she cares about herself the most, which she showed many times, be it by abandoning people as soon as something doesn't go her way, leaving her own sister to die, putting a baby in danger just to prove a point or offing herself, leaving Clem and AJ completely alone.
The writers tried to trick players and initially they succeeded but it seems that nowadays majority of people can see through that and they end up on Kenny's side.
Anyway, it's kinda amazing how so many people are still fighting over Kenny and Jane after so many years, even if the conflict has calmed down significantly. I remember taking part in many discussions when season 2 came out, it was brutal back then.

    • @DTownNash
      @DTownNash 6 месяцев назад +3

I'll elaborate why Kenny's right. I approach it from an Art Imitates life perspective.
Jane literally pretended to KILL AN INNOCENT BABY just to prove a point. She also made fun of Kenny's injury then hit him in the injured/missing eye, she hit below the belt by mentioning his dead family and girlfriend and even then, he STILL asked her if she was ok when they crashed. She also drew her weapon first.
Ask yourself this...would she have taken those same liberties if she met Lilly, Rebecca, Sarita, Carley, Molly or any other female character throughout the series ? Nope. Because they'd whoop her ass.
She only did all that cause she knows Kenny is a man who under normal circumstances wouldn't fight back. Happens in society everyday really.
So why in GOD'S NAME would you kill Kenny when he, in the ending actually gets Clem & AJ to safety if you pick him, not even worrying about himself ?
He's been there since season 1, has paternal instincts, has already lost everyone and is all about the safety of the children. Jane is out herself.
All Jane does is abandon you. she'll find out she's pregnant and off herself.
she also could've stopped the violence at any time by admitting she's lying but instead, She WANTED to fight & REPEATEDLY incited a MUCH STRONGER man with violence, drew her weapon first and got what she deserved.
Team Kenny all the way !
Also if the roles were reversed, and Kenny was making fun of Jane's sister's death, pretending to kill AJ to prove a point then drawing his weapon first, there'd be no hesitation to kill him. So why the hesitation to let Jane die? Why are there TWO options to Shoot Kenny and NONE for Jane?
Oh yeah...because men aren't allowed to be victims and are supposed to just put up with abuse and disrespect. That's why.
This type of mindset is why I genuinely fear for whatever sons I make.
      Therefore Shooting Kenny is wrong.
