Things to remember about Batman’s rogues gallery: If they’re presented as goofy and hilarious in one iteration, there’s always a darker, much more sadistic and twisted counterpart in an alternate universe.
I really hope they bring Victor Zzazz into the universe that the film 'The Batman' recently founded, he's a perfect fit for its dark and psychological tone. I've always really liked the scene where Zzazz gives Batman the old "we're not so different you and I" speech, because he does mirror the Dark Knight in one specific way: Sheer dedication to their cause. Lots of villains are thematic reflections of the insanity which drives Bruce Wayne to be Batman, but none of them hit so specifically on this one element in particular - That they will never stop doing the thing they do. They're obsessed with it, and they'll continue knowing it will probably be the death of them one day. In my mind, Batman's unwavering dedication to his goal of *being Batman* is his real super-power, and no other villain mirrors him so well in this specific regard.
I like Professor Pig as a villain because he adds a sense of dark realism to the world that truly makes a "dark" and "gritty" Batman story darker and grittier. It makes it more like a horror flick, and his video game presence made for a perfect dark detective side story that really did justice to Batman as a character.
I think he's honestly one of the more disturbing villains in Batman's rogues gallery. Just listen to his audio tapes in Arkham Knight, good luck sleeping tonight.
Can’t believe you left out “Eraser,” a villain who works as a clean-up man for hire, accompanying other criminals on their crimes and destroying any evidence as it’s created, a job he was *frighteningly* good at. He also figured out Batman’s identity, because he sat next to Bruce at school and apparently Bruce wears *very* distinctive cologne (and *waaaaay* too much of it.) Eraser lasted one story in the golden age, only coming back for a couple-page cameo post-Crisis as a metahuman who can “erase” matter itself with a touch. Then he got murdered, and hasn’t been seen since. TELL ME THAT’S NOT AN ABSOLUTELY FASCINATING ANTAGONIST FOR THE WORLD’S GREATEST DETECTIVE! We only see him clean-up robberies, but you could do *so much* with Eraser as a staple of Gotham’s underground, and it could get *so dark* if you really wanted to.
Killer moths outfit is badass I'm glad you stuck to the original the only killer moth in my opinion thanks for adding em hands down my favorite villian ps charaxes ain my killer moth
Fantastic job folks keep the good work coming please and I love what you do! I’d love to see videos about Justice League, Justice League Unlimited and the Teen Titans shows. Thanks again everyone!
God that must have a historic moment. Having the one guy who was so pun crazy, and then the guys were like. "Okay that's it. Here's what we're gunna do. We're gunna a make super villian so you can get all this pun-foolery out of your system. It'll be a one-off thing, it'all break up the gritty darkness a bit, and we'll never talk about it again." And thus the creation of Pokadot man
Crazy Quilt saw the world only in vivid colors? In what timeline? He was not 'colorbind'; he could only see things that were brightly, vividly colored; the original helmet allowed him to see by projecting colored beams of light onto everything in his field of vision.
@@seansullivan7928 I guess it COULD go either way the pumpkin is a cross-over fruit. Is it a fruit or a vegetable or what? What the hell is a pumpkin classified as. :)
I understand the mixed up, but I think its better for Professor Pyg to turn people into pigs instead of dollotrons cause that's kind of Dollmaker's thing. I'm glad the TV series, Gotham change that with Professor Pyg, who was easily the best thing in Season 4. Dollmaker also appear in the show, Gotham in Season 1 in two episodes.
I know of a thirteenth villain to the list: The Condiment King! Anyone who thinks that they can hurt anyone with ketchup and mustard, deserves to be on this list. 🌭🍔🍟
"Greatest modem military disaster" Hmm I think that torch got passed to pulling out of a war(that should never have started) and giving the ultra bad guys a military superpower deluxe starter pack.
Hey man, I agree with you that the Afghan and Iraq wars were easily as bad as 'Nam, if not worse in some ways. The equipment we left behind is the absolute least of the mistakes we made, though. Most of what was left behind they can't use, because they have no training, none of the military-grade fuel that powers any of it, and no replacement parts to fix it with when something breaks - And as a vet, let me tell you that military equipment requires *constant* maintenance. Personally, the worst element of our withdrawal is that we didn't have airline tickets and pre-approved VISAs waiting and ready to go for every informant, translator, supplier, and every other resident of these regions who aided us in our efforts there, because we straight-up abandoned a ton of them to just be labeled as traitors by the factions that took control after we left.
@@TheCountOfMommysCrisco oh, don't misunderstand me: what we did to our people and their citizens is much worse than the stuff left. I just went for the low hanging fruit example. Lives are worth more than things. Though, the things here, take lives. In short, I don't disagree with your sentiment.
All the great villians Batman has and yet the movies just keep giving us the hand handful over and over again to the point where they have to keep changing them to the point where they're not longer recognizable as themselves anymore.
What if Batman is just clinically insane himself, and is living in a world inside his mind because of the trauma due to the loss of his parents😮 he is only able to defeat his foes, because he is the one who made them up in the first place
I want atleast one version of killer moth where everything else but his skills are the same. He still is obsessed with batman, He still has the great costume, Still has the same gadgets but his fighting ability and skills rival batmans own and he is only defeated by intelligence on batmans part.
I want to see a dark and brooding Condiment King. Maybe his crimes involve tainting condiments with his own delayed poison version of it. Or maybe he commits crimes like robbing restaurants exclusively.
Batman has a huge rogues gallery but some of the villains in The Dark Knight's rogues gallery like Crazy Quilt, Polka-Dot Man ( Mr. Polka Dot), Ten Eyed Man, Signal Man, Kite Man, Killer Moth, Condiment King, The Eraser, Calendar Man,and The Penny Ponderer are forgotten supervillains who I learned by Mr. Rogues.
I hate Valentine, but in the game Batman and iPhone nine is saying he can’t make everything people perfect even the death scene he said he sad and you can make us pretty soon. If the deaf, crazy guy he’s going to hell.😊

R.I.P. Polka-Dot Man. Was killed by Patrick Star.

With the Broker and the Carpenter right up there.

😂🤣👏🏾
I don't see a point in reviving Stirk. He's basically just Scarecrow 2.0 with psychic powers. Batman already has a top tier fear based enemy.
tbh I kind of like the suicide squad polka dot man because of the ability of his polka dots desolving anything they touch
