    I had a terrible geometry teacher in my sophomore year. He always sleeps in class and I didn't understand anything . I am good in all maths except in geometry. I'll be freshman in college this fall. So I'm take this quarantine as an opportunity to retake the class. Thank you so much for helping. Much love and respect.

      A long time ago, back when I was in high school, I got straight A's in Algebra. When I took Geometry in my sophomore year, I failed. I had a horrible teacher. The students used to fall asleep in his class. I took geometry my 1st year of college and had a wonderful teacher. She made me fall in love with math again. I hope you find my geometry playlist helpful! :-)

      @@mohamedabdibarre7094 Uh probably. Why else would he mention the oldness of the video. Maybe the teacher in the video teaches a different way than our teachers want. You know teachers are picky and want a specific way of answering things. Maybe the teacher in the video's method is different.

    Do you have classes for pre-calc and AP calculus AB and BC? I am planning to go back to college and was wondering if you would be willing to help with calculus 2 and linear algebra and discrete maths if possible? And thanks so much for these videos

      You're welcome! I'm a K-8th teacher who hasn't looked at calculus in over 40 years! I do recommend a channel called Zak's Lab though. 😀

    This should be introduced along with the norm formula, to be derived from the 1 dimensional version to the n dimensional space.

    Let’s say that Y is between X and Z. XY = 7/4x - 9, YZ = 2.5x + 7, and XZ = 66. What are the numerical lengths of XY and YZ?
    Step 1: Apply the Segment Addition Postulate.
    XY + YZ = XZ
    Step 2: Substitute the given values for the variables.
    7/4x - 9 + 2.5x + 7 = 66
    Step 3: Combine the like terms.
    4 1/4x - 2 = 66
    Step 4: Add 2 to both sides, then divide both sides by 4 1/4 (multiply both sides by 4/17).
    x = 16
    XY = 7/4(16) - 9 = 19
    YZ = 2.5(16) + 7 = 47
    19 + 47 = 66, so XY = 19, and YZ = 47.

    Hi, your videos for geometry are really great. I love how you actually do it as you are teaching a class, and do a whole entire lesson on it. I was just curious which geometry book do you use?
