@PeppabotI remember a time 10 years ago when the genre was blossoming out of Vaporwave and it was small enough where I got to meet a lot of the big synthwave artists at the time. I was young and made some mistakes but I learned you shouldn't always meet your heros. Not that they were dickheads but just didn't have interest in collaborations with newer artists and interested in propping each other up. They would also pump out so much music to the point where some songs would sound so similar from drum beats and specific synths used. I'm older now, and stopped listening to synthwave after that experience. But I learned a lot from it and still regret the mistakes I made with those other artists. I still consider this style of music to be very hopeful and vibey, so occasionally I will listen to tracks like this. Anyways, have a good life
