My amazing wife has anxiety in crowds sometimes, so the DAS pass was a welcome relief! It didnt eliminate the waiting, of course, but it mitigated how much time we spent in a crowded area, which was perfect. She got to experience all of the cool things Disneyland had to offer and not feel scared and anxious and claustrophobic the entire day. As a tip for everyone too, cast members usually know some quiet places in the parks that you can go to if you or someone in your group is having a tough time. And I cannot overstate the magic of a cold drink of water and a snack. ;)
Thanks for sharing the great tip for us! For those that need a quite place to decompress that is a welcome relief for sure! I’m so glad that you’re able to utilize this pass for your Wife. It’s what enables us to enjoy Disney parks with our whole family and no one is excluded! I’m glad Disney is radically inclusive in this way!
Very good video! Our son has Down Syndrome and this has made our trips so much better. We are so grateful for Disney to offer these passes. Without them, these trips probably wouldn’t be possible.
Thank you so much! We are also so grateful for the DAS pass for our youngest. Having a neuro-divergent in the family, it also allows us to visit the parks with him so that he doesn’t have to miss out! Hope to see you around!
It really is a great service that Disney provides isn’t it?? We truly wouldn’t be able to visit the parks if it weren’t for the DAS pass for our youngest son. Thanks for talking Disney, love hearing other people’s stories!!
Glad it helped! It’s been so helpful for our youngest, he wouldn’t be able to go to Disney without this service they provide for him. It’s one of the reasons we love going!
I’ve used DAS pass twice now and, as someone who struggles with anxiety and a neurological condition, this pass is a miracle. My only gripe is that I wish people with DAS were made a priority over people redeeming a lighting lane due to a ride shutting down. I’ve had this happen twice on test track and rise of the rebellion and the wait ended up longer than the standby queue.
It really is helpful! I’m so glad Disney offers this to its guests that really need it! There are a few things that could always be improved upon a bit. But I love how they are always trying to make experiences better. I’m sure they will continue to improve the DAS pass!
DAS pass also works for Diabetics since my mom has passed out from poorly planned meals and active times it would be helpful. Though I am wondering should we get one for my son as well since he absolutely struggles with lines and we would technically have 7 people in the family but the next time we go the youngest would be under 3 so I guess would under 3yo count?
Thanks for the info! That’s good to know! If you think your son qualifies I would schedule to talk to a cast member on the Disney website for the DAS pass. Regarding if they will allow more than 6 guests with the pass holder, I’ve heard that they have made allowances for this before, but I wouldn’t be able to say 100% for sure that they would allow you more than 6. But knowing Disney I’m sure they will accommodate you the best they can!

My son is on the spectrum. I wish I had know about it sooner. It has helped us so much.
