The things is, especially in teams fights, I keep seeing that to be a better adc you have you try staying alive and do as much as you can without getting oneshot, because I'm squishy and die too fast so I shouldn't go in, then you see people just be so good at spacing and the base mechanics of league that they go in while they staying alive in a way that's really cool and fun to watch! I always thought that high elo was better because they are more flashy or super skilled at complex champions, but they seems to so good at the basic skills of the game that they start doing weird shit that I never even considered doing, like Guma or in top Zues like actually predicting a whole interaction to the slightest step forward and backward can win a lane! (ofc they have full mastery of complex champions too but that is not the as awesome as I thought compared to mental stuff like this.) edit: grammar sorry.
3:36 so this is just lowground-highground, but what do you mean with 'he uses this trick instead of guessing 50-50 sidestep', isn't the hitbox always the same size, and it just changes from more ot the left to more to the right? If it just changes place then it's still 50-50 no?
2:00 yes heal can be used for MS to prevent getting CCed, but in this video clip example is not for MS to prevent getting CCed in this case it was because the enemy obviously was going for an all-in play (blitz flashing directly onto annie), so the quicker you can use heal the better especially because you want to use it before the enemy uses ignite
he did this with his editing software by turning up the saturation really high. you cant do it in league itself, but you can probably turn up ur monitors saturation to get the same effect.

Ruler, Peyz, Viper are all better than Guma, and I could probably add Deft. I don't follow LPL, so I'm not sure what ADs they got there, but Guma at best is rank 3 in the LCK, probably 4th or 5th even. He gets so much praise because he plays with Keria.
CN players break down too easily under pressure, this happened in Dota too, Sccc for example breaking down vs western players or TongFu breaking down vs fountain hooks and so on. "LP" doesn't matter when pressure gets to you when stuff actually matters
