You know it's hot if the steam makes you cough!
I think the greedy corrupt governments are normal around the world now Babatunde - rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
I tried one of the same brand but not extra hot. I put only one third of the spice packet in it. For me it was still too hot! 🥵
You are a brave man!
I find this one pretty tasty. It's hottest when you have it like that, unaltered from what is in the packaging. But by adding other things, like some green onion or some kind of flavoring oil (like, I often use toasted sesame oil) it adds more flavor, and also moderates the heat a bit. The more you eat things like that, the more your mouth adjusts to the heat.
Thank you for the video!
If you ever get another thing of ramen, what I think would be fun to see is different ways you could fancy it up t make it better. Packaged ramen has much potential to have things added to it, and I know in your country the things you would have available to do so would be very different from what those where I live would have. It would be cool to see how you'd approach it!
Regardless, I wish you the best!
That's why i didn't add onion.
The greatest shame is that my mouth adjusts fine but my bowels do not. Even the 1x spicy has ... Some consequences but I like it too much
@@bocbinsgames6745 I was born with cast-iron bowels. Even if I eat things that are way too spicy for me, that destroy my mouth and stomach, the other end hardly notices.
Wow! Mr Babatunde, I honour you!😊. You are very brave and adventurous when it comes to food... and in part, to educate and inform us, which is a wonderful thing to do😊, so that we can share a very small part of how life is for you. It's really good to see each of your videos and to hear your thoughts and views. I so much look forward to every new video. I'm setting up membership now, and I truly hope it helps you. God bless you.
Maybe they should offer these noodles on Hot Ones.
The second packet is not supposed to be stirred in. It is just garnish. It is genuinely interesting that these peppers are defeating you! I remember eating them pretty easily -- maybe less in each mouthful.
"They don't even believe in the religion they are preaching" - AMEN!!! Continue to speak your truth, and show us fun videos of you eating food from different cultures. 😊
You're the spice king!
There's a 3x spice one available. I've always been quite tempted to try them. I heard Koreans often put a slice of cheese in there. The fat is good at neutralising spice.
I've tried these, as one of those weird Brits who lived in Australia, so I'm used to some spice (For those who haven't travelled to Australia, the food there is phenomenal and everywhere is different). The x3 spicy are a solid 12 out of 10. I got through half a bowl before I tapped out. Great texture, decent flavour, but the x2 spicy are good enough for me without sacrificing too much on taste. The x3 are probably more of a novelty factor more than anything.
I'm Swedish, I only found the 3x one at the store, and had it at two different occasions, it's good, but it's also not super enjoyable, like Babatunde said 😄
I don’t think I could handle the 2x spicy! I tried another Buldak variety once (I think spicy chicken?) and even though I only put in part of the sauce, it gave me stomach troubles to put it politely 😂
My favourite Buldak noodles are the ones with cheese powder, like the kind of powder that comes in Kraft mac n’ cheese. They are SO GOOD.
love the videos, so glad you have managed to find your space on youtube. I have these noodles every so often, they are nice but people make it out like they are the best meal on planet earth sometimes which i think is an exageration. In terms of spice i usually only add half the sauce because its too much otherwise
I may have dreamed the 4x spicy but i remember enjoying it. I think it's the intense sesame oil and spice that I enjoy.
I cooked up that spicy stuff in a friend's apartment and i quickly became panicked that i might have spread the spicy air all over! It was icy cold outside, but i opened the windows to spare them.
A) everything about RUclips is a mess.
B) if it's making even Babatunde cough..... Meep!!! Might be too much for me, too heh
After watching this video yesterday I ordered some of the 3x spicy ones from amazon. They are intense! I love spice and they were really fun to eat.
I added a little butter after cooking but still very spicy. I still have 4 more packets to eat. I will add vegetables next time.
I ate 3 packs of the 2x spicy noodles I love hot food and grow my own chillies.
When the Danish banned those 2x and 3x hotter noodles, I went straight to buy some (2x hot ones) as long as they are available here in Finland. It was ok, not overly hot to my taste, but not very much other flavor there. So I had to add some other spices.
I tried last weeks 3 bonnet drop. They were pleasant on the way down. Although slightly acrid. Curred my ailments
Pure salt is quite good at absorbing spiciness, it helps absorb the spicy oil coating your tongue.
Babatunde you're not ordinary.
I would probably die from just one bite lol
I have tried the one in the red packet, I felt it the next day
I am Asian, nice to see you eating our regular food. But most of us dont eat the 2 x Spicy either. Just go for the normal version, or you could use less of the sauce.
respect
Milk, or even better, chocolate milk is the best thing to sooth the burn.
Good effort mate! 🤣
I love spicy food, I'll put a splash of Carolina Reaper hot sauce in a lot of things. I want to try this, but if it defeated a guy who eats Scotch Bonnets like they're tomatoes, I'm a little nervous.
Too hot for you means too hot for mee
You are a brave soul
I used to eat a lot of "instant" noodles, but never anything so spicy. Hope it's not too painful!
Samyang also makes a 3x spicy Buldak noodle, though given your opinion of the 2x you shouldn't try it. And while I understand that most people don't want anything that spicy, I quite enjoy their 2x spicy and can tolerate the 3x just fine.
Wow, you are the boss
I tried those recently for the first time and threw half the bowl away😅 They were very very spicy (but still bearable) but sooo bland beside the spicyness that I couldn't get them down and decided to make my extra spicy chili con carne instead.
❣️💌❣️
I bought these from an asian supermarket once and it was a very big mistake . Like trying to swallow lava!
Wow, I like spicy food, but I think I'll pass. This will be too hot for me. Cool that you tried!
the 2x spicy noodles are no joke. you wouldnt think they'd be that bad, due to the listed Scoville rating but the msg just makes it a hundred times worse.
Now I know not to try that brand - although I do buy and enjoy another brand of spicy noodles. Someone must eat them - not just buy them once to try - or no one would sell them.
That's HOT!
I'm surprised that it's hot to you. Scotch bonnets can burn a lot. Even when compared to those products. I thought you might think the spice would be okay, but it would be much too salty for you.
Oh gosh, that should be banned on the amount of food waste it no doubt produces when people can't eat it. Maybe Denmark has a point!
@@PlanetZhooZhoo yes, they do.
A public advisory might be a good idea, but i very much enjoy this level of spice and wish this were more accessible for my own consumption. I've seen bad reactions to spice, however, so an official and standardized warning should be considered so it doesn't look like a marketing gimmick and can be taken seriously. I'm definitely the kind of person to try this with a scotch bonnet, with the windows open, of course.
