Phil, have you ever watched any of Daniel Steiners videos on youtube? He talks about the history of how different cities came to have their current street designs? He has a good one about Boston and another about Broadway in NYC. Im not affiliated with him or anything, but his channel is right up your alley. Love your channel!

If you added another curve, connecting another street to your highway, you could have a Dealy Plaza. One highway splits into three streets, two one way streets and one two way street.

this is so freaking cool. i remember when your channel was so small, i came along at around 1k subs or so. your content was already super good and refreshing and i was pretty much hooked. then youtube stopped recommending you and i couldn't find your channel but eventually you had grown enough to catch the algorithms attention again and i managed to snag one of your videos and subscribe.
fast forward to today and its like you're a professional lifetime streamer already. congrats man. its been really neat to see you improve in each video.

One idea to potentially fix four palms beach, did you try already to delete the bridge you built at the bus/tram hub? I seem to recall that you added that with anarchy on, potentially it is too low for trams and makes it crash?

Have you ever thought about some literally How To videos? I know you talk about them in your videos, but there is so much I want to learn about city planning as a hobby for games like this! I try to copy a lot of what you do to learn, but some how to would be much appreciated! Also understand if there isn’t time lol.

I know this is an old stream but i noticed you’re playing on Four palms bay but you’re making changes in the Magnolia county playset. I’m wondering if that can be the cause to your problems?
I would be interested in seeing more maps from you. Do you know of any series on RUclips that does a Map Editor tutorial? There are some videos out but most are not great. I am trying to make a map but the water mechanic is driving me nuts.

If it makes you feel any better, I think I figured it out! I think it might be the zoning toolkit. Will experiment with it before the next one.
Don't feel like you need to apologize to Canadians, we do that enough already. Plus we don't like Tim Horton's either, it's been in decline since the early 2000s since it was bought out by a US Conglomerate who also owns Burger King. They stopped renewing their contract with their coffee distributor because they wanted an even cheaper deal, Canadian McDonalds scooped up contract instead and has been eating into the coffee market share.

Your stance on quality vs quantity is admirable but ultimately futile and self-defeating. I tried the same approach in music a couple decades ago and I learned from others that our world consumes at a rate hard to understand. People always want MORE and they always want what's newest and what they're seeing most often passively. The more content you create, the more content RUclips has to promote in other people's feeds. Jay Z isn't Jay Z because he's such an amazing artist - he's Jay Z because he released so many albums in such short a time that no other artists were able to keep pace at that level and therefore, he became the dominant content creator. Same with 50 Cent when he first released, his albums were spaced out more but he had mixtape after mixtape of low-quality quantity-focused music to keep the consumer rate satisfied and his name on people's tongue. I would STRONGLY advise quantity over quality if your goal here is growth and long-term success. Just my two cents.
