I love the whale tail at 3:20 My old man is a commercial fisherman and we are fortunate enough to take my kids out on a 40ft gillnetter converted to a holiday'er. I caught a 100lb halibut while jigging in 30ft with my kids. Cleaned it with pops. Later that night having some drinks with my dad and talking about life, women, and sacrifices, he told me he wanted to get made a custom built whale tail for his front yard. I got one for last xmas, 5ft high, 4ft wide.....my son used to always say that his grandfather never killed fish, but was paid to say hello to the whales, and he started calling my parents grandma and grandpa whale....and this is why art is so meaningful.
6:13 When I first got engaged, I went commercial fishing with my dad to help pay some bills. That sacrifice away from your loved one. Being out on the desolate ocean as like other for hundreds of years. Something about the ocean that is so timeless....then I was given the captains chair. The old man gave me the lecture together with the other deckhand, if we were caught sleeping behind the wheel, instant firing, no excuses....he gave me a coffee, "it's been sitting on the stove all day, it tastes like sh!t, but it does the job" it was honestly the best coffee I ever had, all while reflecting on how every item, every bill paid in my childhood was from time sacrificed away from loved ones for my father. Pretty awesome moment being handed down the crown that was bittersweet.
@@kevinpwoodward nope, not my boat...I bought something even more expensive, getting my kids during a custody battle. I was simply reflecting on the premise of the captains chair.

@@baddazzgarage2953 thanks dude I really appreciate it. I figure life all comes down to priorities and sacrifices. My family is fortunate enough to have a friend that let's us use his 40ft boat anytime we want and my father does all of the mechanical work for free. I'm grateful for the lifetime of memories we create for my kids. Money doesnt buy true happiness, I believe it comes down to relationships with others. Yeah or you can become a Russian Oligark or another of the 0,00000001 percent of the earth's population who can buy it. Sometimes I wonder how this business can survive. Hey, lets build a product for about 10 interested people in the world...
Hahaha....my first boss I ever had made a point that his number one priority of his restaurant was having the toilet paper roll facing the correct way...and now I'm passing down this important knowledge to my kids.
Nice. Short one more vip cabin though and bigger galley and long range refrigerator/chill storage capacity. Why bridge windows slope the wrong way is beyond me!
Think of the time and energy that some people put into making something just a little uniquely different to make it their own. No other nordhavns are like that for their windows. I think it's cool to be different. Like the first time someone put a suspension on a motorcycle upside down. It works perfectly fine. And it gets people talking just like this. Just my take on it
Ryan Clayton The rake of the pilot house windows is not unique to this boat. All EYFs have this style. Most Nordhavn 50s and 57s have the same style. The Coast Pilot also has this style.
Who needs a crew...75ft can be handled by a husband and wife team....less witnesses to ones bad habits. Jk ....I'd rather have my independence and privacy with loved ones vs having a crew....to each their own, always nice to dream big for inspiration
I think yes, that was a pilot's cabin behind the bridge. And then it has the owner's cabin, and three double guests cabins,. So it can sleep 9 persons (2+2+2+2+1)
hello experts, I have a question ... if I am an adventurous type "SOLO", I could pilot this ship myself???..and when I have to clean only contract a "cleaning company" and contract a company to give maintenance to the engines when arriving at port???.
What in particular? Each boat serves a different purpose. My piece a crap 15.5ft boat was awesome for a family project for my kids to work on together with me and make a profit. I dont even dream of owning a boat this nice. Huge deck for fishing, large enough to clean a halibut, or drinking with the boys with a lil sunshine on the back deck and BBQing or working on or checking out the engine room or the tool/supply room, while the girls have a patio table on the next deck. And the isolative personality disorders can lay on the lounger chairs....I lost count of the amount of beds. Hell, I'll sleep in that engine room. Plenty of room, for loved ones, business associates and even family. Lol. Not trying to argue with you dude, to each their own. That's the great thing about creating your own, whether its art, a hot rod car, it's about working hard and designing something that represents them. And this one happens to resonate with me, but perhaps I'm biased because I can relate to the owner. What is your dream boat?
@@chips810 look how big that back deck is. Table top to clean the fish. Have a vacuum packer and the mess is all on the back deck and easy to clean. We were able to do this catching x20 25lb salmon per day on a 3288 bayliner with 1/4 of the space. No blood or mess in the cabin.
I’m not even joking when I say that this vessel took my breath away. Absolutely STUNNING!
Just beautiful. Prettier inside than some of the newer Nordhavns!

I LOVE IT! This is Beautiful Fine Instrument! Just like a Steinway and Sons Concert Grand built for the Seas!
I REALLY like the new layout! But I would've kept the forward leaning windshields that Nordhavn is known for
Correct a bit of a departure from nordhavn Expedition Style
Me too
It's only on the EFY models
A lot of companies do that. It's not a Nordhavn thing.
You might in big seas or bright clear skys with glare.
I just love it! Its so Beautiful. My Norhavn dream. Such an amazing sportfisher & its a Nordhavn! WOW! Maybe one day nothing wrong in dreamin!
Now That’s probably the nicest one I’ve seen yet
Skipped from one place to another so that I am completely lost as to what is what and where.
Otherwise a great video and great looking boat.
A coastal cruiser capable of crossing oceans. Bravo Nordhavn. 👏
This vessel is a work of art, just beautiful.
absolutely stunning interior...but with 2 or 3 grandkids, it will definitely look different inside
Wish I could afford it.
It would be my retirement boat.
NOT a Party Boat.
I’m a huge fan of Nordhavn interiors.
The video editor should definitly get a raise. Amazing yacht!
When you are that beautiful you dont need a great video editor, but wicked cool job, I'm sure they could even make me look half decent.
One day one day. I'm going to dream about taking this boat to the Maldives tonight. Who wants to come along
Just waiting to hit the Mega Millions or Power Ball, it'd be mine tomorrow.
Do they have zero percent interest for 84 months.
Now that's quite a sizable fishing cockpit
nice but a bit too much Cosmopolitan houseboat and not enough nautical Expedition
Perfect until the 6:51 mark. Who the hell put the toilet paper roll on backwards?
Oh the humanity.........
Hahaha....my first boss I ever had made a point that his number one priority of his restaurant was having the toilet paper roll facing the correct way...and now I'm passing down this important knowledge to my kids.
I agree 110%! 😂🤣😂
It's not backwards if you have kids.
CHRIS....Dogs do it Right.....JUST DRAG ON THE CARPET....
What's happened to the traditional nordhavn angled pilot house windows.... I'm not so keen on these!
I prefer the new look. Our old family boat was angled and sun glare was a problem at times. Pros and cons, but to each their own
It is only on the EYF version which is the 75'. All the others still have the classic Portuguese bridge.
@@brianaskren3118 yep

What a beautiful vessel.

What a beuty of a trawler yacht.

When I get my yacht shes gonna be named:
"How Do You Like Them Apples"
If you get in trouble that will be a mouth full. Good to have a name short clear simple.

Lekker man lekker
I wonder how slow it will troll for fishing while idling on one engine.
Heckuva fishing boat!

Incredible
Very nice for 3.5
3.5 for a ten year old 09 model, a new one starts at 5.775
Goid job. Like it

Did I miss the crew quarters? Was that the captain's bunk behind the wheelhouse?

ridiculous, set up to fish, then snow white carpet?
