The funniest thing about the Pilliga Princess is that she walked that highway alone at night for years and was never attacked by a Yowie. In other words even the Yowies knew better than to fuck with a crazy old bag lady! Sure, they're not afraid to attack big, tough truckers, but a bag lady? Fuck that shit!

In 1983 I saw the foot prints of a Yowie on Bohenia creek sandy bank which cuts through the Pilliga scrub. They were huge bipedal prints in the shape of a gorilla foot print.

In 1975 the Australia Post had an article about sightings of the ape man in Pilliga Scrub .

I definitely agree when a few guys get together (with something to puff on and a few bottles of grog) spending a few days in the bush for fun.

The Pilliga princess that roamed the pilliga.mixed with the yowies.they didn't see her as a threat.the elders of aboringal people would mix with the odd Yowie.but Aboringals children would never wonder off on their own at night.i know couple drivers that saw princess.
