In 1983 I saw the foot prints of a Yowie on Bohenia creek sandy bank which cuts through the Pilliga scrub. They were huge bipedal prints in the shape of a gorilla foot print.

Went to school in Gwabegar in the mid nineties great little place in the bush. Lived right down the back near the little pine shelter there was a filled in well down the back and the dunny was about 30 metres across the paddock.
The Pilliga princess that roamed the pilliga.mixed with the yowies.they didn't see her as a threat.the elders of aboringal people would mix with the odd Yowie.but Aboringals children would never wonder off on their own at night.i know couple drivers that saw princess.
