As a Bulls fan I told everyone at the start of the season that the Warriors were coming.. everyone continued to count them out giving every excuse in the book to why they couldn’t make it back. Now they are 2 games away from reaching the finals.. I hope they win it all this year to shut the haters up once and for all.

Basketball is a team sport. Warriors have dominated over the last 8 years because they play as a team. Curry has to be the best player in the series because he sacrifices for his team. He ca easily give you 40 or 50 but knows it takes a team effort to win a game. Hats of to him. All these teams need to start learning how to play as a team if they are to beat warriors in the playoffs. Finally enjoying basketball again because everyone shares the basket.

The Mavericks are going to have a much more difficult task coming back from 2-0 this time around then against the Suns.
That championship experience is the X-factor that sets Golden State apart from the others. They've been in situations like tonight COUNTLESS times in the past throughout their run with this core of Steph, Klay, and Draymond, and more often than not they've come out on top. They have the experience, the talent, and the will to win these types of games. Dallas will really need to lean on their home crowd and the 3-point shot to even this series and give themselves a chance.

The warriors created the new nba with small ball lineups and the 3 ball but have since flipped the script to getting layups / setting up midrange and sticking to traditional lineups . Coach Kerr is in his bag
The difference is simply ball movement and off-ball movement VS ISO. Seems like a hard concept to grasp by most teams. Curry's selflessness is what improves this team. Until every star learns to do the same, then it is likely GSW will be here to win the Western Conference again and again.

The Warriors showed championship experience by adapting. The 3 point shot were not falling so they went to the paint. Mavs were hitting 3s, so they doubled the point at the top of the key and shifted ahead of time to contest shots. All around a excellent adjustment by the Warriors for the win

Steve Kerr was the perfect fit to go along with the Warriors core. They make every player good.
The commentators mentioned it during the game, and I noticed it on that tangle with Lee and Bertans. Why are all those Dallas players near or almost on the court? They said the team was already fined for that, and it does hinder the players that go to that side of the floor.
They said Bertans and Lee didn't know what they were doing. Both of them knew exactly what they were doing. Lee intentionally stepped over Bertans, Bertans didn't like it so he stood up and lifted him off the ground. I've played enough ball to know that you would realize what you're doing. It's weird that Chuck and Kenny would be confused by this - they just played in a time when nobody would think twice about it.

Simple old school basketball GSW used to win. Turning excellent defense into excellent offense, not forcing shots, making plays inside the paint, when you feel the 3 ball game you take advantage and playoff basketball experience.

The only way the warriors lose this year, is if they lose to themselves. Honestly, they clearly are the best defensive team left in the playoffs, and we all know they're deadly offensively. They're problem is careless turnovers. Plain and simple.
I think the Warriors could lose if Dallas is able to shoot lights out for an entire game. I’m not saying that they wouldn’t be able to find a way to win still, but I think Dallas has shown how good they are in their own building, so I definitely think that GS could play a good game and still lose in Dallas just because of how many 3’s Dallas puts up.

Law of averages. The 3s were going in on the 1st half, at some point they won’t go in anymore. They were less aggressive coming in from the half while GSW had the momentum and were pushing everything in the paint.
The switch on defensive assignments worked well in the 2nd half

How much better can Dallas get than they were in the first half? They executed their game plan to perfection in the first half and it was still not enough. Stop trying to compare the Warriors to Minnesota and Phoenix. This is a team with Championship DNA!

This game played out pretty much exactly how Draymond laid it out in his podcast. Take their heavy punches early and stay in it, and play their own game.
This is a perfect example of the term “styles make fights” The Mavs style of play plays right into GS’s hands. But that same style proved to not be a good one for Phoenix. Phoenix would have been a more competitive match up for Golden State IMO. The Mavericks depend too much on the three point shot to the point where they would rather take a contested 3 then take an easier 2. It’s almost like every time down court they’re looking to shoot up at 3. That style of play is only gonna get you so far until you run into a team that’s good enough to game plan against that and basically let you beat yourself with your own strategy. This series looks like it’s not going past 5 games.
Doncic and Brunson played at their best. Dallas outshot the Warriors from three, which is their game plan. And they still lost by nearly double-digits. If KEVON LOONEY of all people emerges as a key player the way he has been lately to add to all the firepower they have, it's just unfair. See you in the Finals!
This game was never over. 2 things were happening, GS was missing assignments on D, and Dallas was hitting every freaking thing they threw up. Both of those problems were going to sort themselves out and they did. Had Dallas been up 15 after 3, you can say they gave it away, but reality is the better team took it from them. Complete 2nd half domination. For anybody saying “Looney had the game of his life”, he got countless point blank easy layups because the mavs were doubling Steph all night from 30 ft, that backfired

Looney did exactly what he needed to do. Warriors really don't need a dominant center when you got guys who just know their role. It's exactly why Draymond shines. All it's asked of them to do is set screens, rebound and box out, make good cuts and play good team defense. If they take care of that while not turning the ball over Curry, Klay and Poole eventually gonna score
