I think Joel being added to Hermitcraft is just a matter of time. Only way I don’t see him getting added is if an active Hermit has some kind of issue with him but don’t see that being a thing. Especially considering he brings his own massive audience.
plus hes showed he can be a brilliant builder when he needs to be (empires season 1 build) plus he gels really well with mumbo scar and grian so it would be so cool to watch him in it and expand to new audiences

Well the problem with hemicraft and it's realy a thing i don't like but we can't do anything about it, the audiance targetted is the kids, that's why they are always trying to have 0 "bad language" or "adult jokes" like it was before, it's a choice they made and i think many very good minecraft youtubers can't be accepted in that server because of this restrictions the server have. I'd love to sea Joel and Lizzy in Hermicraft too! Or maybe one day if a new youtuber smp for a more mature audience is created i'll love to see them there!

With your Empires base, Hardcore world, one off videos with Grian and co., and all of the Life series' I know your work on Hermitcraft would be such a nice addition to all of the beauty that Hermitcraft is.
He said on an MCC stream a while ago that he expressed interest but they said no, probably because it’s tough to get all hermits to agree to bring in a new person and possibly changing the dynamic especially when some of them don’t really know him (doc, keralis, etc). But lately Joel’s been really getting to know more Hermits, I honestly can’t think of too many he’s not friends with now. A lot more compared to last year for sure. also, them brining him on to play decked out is a good sign so fingers crossed that it could be in the cards!
Also they probably have to be careful bringing people in from the empires community/group because they obviously can’t just bring in all of them since that would completely change the hermitcraft dynamic, but it would also be complicated to invite just one person cause yknow, that could cause some tensions and hurt feelings

Nobody throws a tantrum when they're not invited onto the Life Series either. Besides, most of the Empires cast just is not a good fit for Hermitcraft whatsoever. I love the Empires crew a lot, but some of them are better off doing their own thing.

It is pretty good chance that there will be new hermits, some of folks from hc stepped back with content. They play modded series or were busy in life. Anyway I think there is a place for new people to push server forward. Gem an Pearl added a lot.
