I think it’s amazing and incredible you have these old broadcast and audios of frank Sinatra during his peak and prime and early days mostly. I mean this hasn’t been heard since it was first broadcasted in 1945 and Ik I wasn’t around then and to hear it now Just makes me feel like a young teen during that era. I hope you never stop uploading this is gold Thanks
Thanks. Dear Mr Mahoney, Ive been looking for a Carnegie Hall concert with an introductory dialogue between Sinatra and Duke Ellington (hilarious because Sinatra talks jive talk and Ellington sounds like the Duke of Windsor)… It would have been about this time! Cant find it again on RUclips. Did you perhaps post it?
Hello David -- sorry for the long delay in replying. I have uploaded a 1943 radio clip with FS and Duke Ellington that may be the one you were looking for. It was broadcast live from the Broadway Theater in NYC: ruclips.net/video/vRNvbsMc4-Y/видео.html
Habanera, Sunday, Monday Or Always, Saturday Night (Is The Loneliest Night of the Week), Vesti La Giubba , Sold American (Chant), La Donna È Mobile, & Ac-cen-tchu-ate The Positive.
Love both Sinatra and Tibbett.
Both very distinctive, expressive and with a beautiful voice
Awesome Medley, thanks for uploading.
What a great duet
