My dad was a trucker he passed away last year may 31st 2019 from stage four liver cancer and the complications of a stroke that left him bedridden or in a wheelchair he was 53 years old miss him. He taught me everything I know about the trucking industry used to lower the landing gear an pull the pin when we would drop a trailer an pull the air hose an power wire an do the same when hooking to the next trailer pulling the landing gear up an attaching air an power wire an help with pre trip when I was with dad in the truck. . working on getting my CDL. You're one of my favorite truck driving county singer. My father drove truck for 40 some years even though he battled stage four liver cancer for the last two years of his life he didn't give up driving truck he wouldn't of had it any other way. He got discharged from the hospital to spend his last days at home all my father could talk about before he passed away was trucking . a year before his stroke he recommended I go work for a near by trucking fleet terminal and I did so because I wanted to go through the company CDL program but got fired after 2 years in November 12 2019. I wish my father would of helped me get my CDL. Right now I'm struggling financially. Job hunting for something to sustain me. and so is my widoed mother she has two vehicles to pay off an she recently got fired. until I get my 2013 ram 1500 paid off rest of this year and next year is all I have to pay it off. I hope everything works out an I can go for my CDL . asked my mom if she would go along with me since she brought up her possibility of getting her CDL
