I say I can’t pick a favourite character in Abbott, but I have to admit, I don’t stop smiling the moment Ava comes on screen. I just love her shenanigans.
Same here! I love EVERY single character. All so well written and fleshed out!
She's f'n hysterical. I"ve worked in schools and the incompetent principal thing is totally real. But if she were my boss somehow I wouldn't be able to get too mad at her because she has a sweet core and also because I'd be laughing my ass off.
She’s just goddamn brilliant, and Quinta’s writing is so good. It’s such a bright light.

She is one of the funniest characters on TV right now, her timing is amazing, and her one liners are always hilarious 😂. She is hilarious.
She kills me. I've worked with totally real incompetent principals, but I can't help but love her as I laugh my ass off at her calculated idiotic laziness and her half-ass work ethic. She also is truly sweet and it comes through in her charaacter and real life personality.

first couple of ep in season 1 i was annoyed at ava cause she made the teacher's life difficult, then i cant atop laughing - she's hilarious!
honestly, i feel like she’s slowly getting better at her job in a weird way, granted she’s not principal of the year, but she is blossoming in her position in her own way. it was really cute watching her read to the kids and helping out the little girl on her spelling test.
