Happy new year! 30:44 the "meat" in Night City is synthetic protein made on protein farms using worms or insects. I always assumed Takemura was more accustomed to real meat which his old position likely afford him.
The quests after the heist being named after songs is tied to Johnny Silverhand being a rockerboy. The quest descriptions in the journal memory are also all spoken from his perspective, to V. They give some nice extra insight into his personality and character, show that he's not a COMPLETE narcissistic asshole. The act 1 quests are named more simply (the pickup, the heist, the car, the gun, etc.) and their descriptions are spoken from Jackie's perspective. Actually, one of the first quests you get in act 2, Playing For Time (the one where you meet Takemura at the diner and lay down the general goals of act 2) is the last description spoken from Jackie's perspective, and is a bittersweet final goodbye. It's not just the quest names, though. There are a few other references to real world things, people, and events that tell us this all takes place in our timeline, but the events of real life and Cyberpunk diverge somewhere around the 1980s/1990s. At some point in an easily missable side-convo with Johnny during a Phantom Liberty quest, he even mentions Wendy O Williams, a real life punk icon and artist from the 80s and 90s, and talks about how he'd have given anything to see her in concert just once before her tragic suicide in 1998. Saburo Arasaka also fought in WWII. It adds a layer of realism and believability to Cyberpunk's world that really grounds it, I think.
Happy New year! One thing you have missed like so many others did, including myself until after 200 hours in game. Power weapons ricochet action. Its extremely powerful tool to use, you can bounce the bullets around corners and many power weapons and their mods do more damage with ricochet. Better with rapid fire weapons, grab a pistol or machine gun and test it out.
I think the encounter with the Tyger Claw in the trunk is related to that sometimes you get a gig from a Fixer to kill someone. But if you only knock them unconscious your contact sends a car over and you put them in the trunk.. WHatever happens next is someone elses problem. That way you can finish the game doing a pacifist no-kill run.
Crate 667 is actually outside, near the garage doors on the left side of the warehouse when looking at it from the way you entered the park. You can come back to grab the Shingen MK5 prototype any time you want, and can even grab before this quest as soon as act 2 begins, if you know where to look. It's a nice, burst fire smart SMG that has a chance to burn enemies. On its own, its nice to have, but not the best one. But, with a good cyberdeck and a contagion quickhack that's at least tier 4, it becomes indispensable. This is because contagion has a nice sub effect (only tier 4 and above tho) where setting fire to an enemy that's already affected by it will cause them to explode in a cloud of toxic gas and fire. Because contagion is a poisoning hack that also spreads to enemies around the first one you hacked, this can be especially useful to take out entire groups in seconds with just a couple of contagions, waiting for it to spread to all or most of them, then firing a couple shots from the Shingen to trigger the explosion. If you don't aim down sights and just hipfire, the multiple rounds fired in a single burst will actually track to multiple targets. This is how almost all smart weapons work. Hip fire for groups to hit everyone at once, ADS to hit a single enemy's head or weakspot (ADS can gain an extra lock-on or two depending on the weapon and if you have a certain perk though) If you wanna try this, I'd recommend getting the Shingen from the container, buying or crafting tier 4 contagion, a smart link since you don't currently have one and need one for smart guns to be effective, and using the Raven cyberdeck that makes hacks spread to more enemies instantly, instead of having to wait for an upload. With contagion, since it already has its own spreading effect without that deck, using it with the Raven will literally upload contagion up to 5 or 6 enemies instantly, just by hitting one of them with it. You'd need 20 intelligence for the spillover perk to be able to spread any other hack, but since contagion already has an inherent spreading effect, it'll work without if you dont want to max out intelligence. Also, I did notice last time you had a smart link, you were firing the guns too early. It can be easy to not notice at first since they're small, but when you aim a smart weapon at an enemy and want the bullets to track them and curve to hit them like they're designed to, you need to hover the reticle over the enemy, look for the red lock-on diamonds that appear on parts of their body (head and weakspots if ADS, whatever the easiest body part to hit is if you hipfire), wait for the diamonds to close and form completely, THEN fire. That process can be sped up with intelligence smart gun perks. There's also smart gun perks that refund you RAM when you kill enemies with one, so you can keep hacking more in the heat of the fight.
I didn’t need to sneak or fight my way into the Arasaka building. I simply persuaded the security guard at the gate to let me through and strolled in without a hitch. That’s the power of corpo influence.
On Arasaka base is special version(prototype) Sgingen Arasaka -i highly recommended you find it if you like smart weapons -dont be disapoitned .-btw you can use Overwatch sniper to silient kills and easy win even mech is weak aganist overwatch you can kill him from big rande easy
Happy New Year 🎉 Speaking of techno, would it be considered retro in night city? Like how Johnny's songs are treated like 50's beebop rock and roll lolz.
For the scooting with takemura you missed the bridge (never used that entry) and the truck that move around the place on the road (that one is usefull you steal the truck go there and they open the gate for you) there is probably path i dont even know . . . Most mission have minimum 3 ways to proceed , this one must be around 10 , ive tryed 4 (maybe 5 not sure if i reached that point or not in my 5th playthrough but i guess not cause i know to avoid Takemura quest if i dont want the game to end early)
Happy new year Libby, have you gone back to Coyote Cojo for Jackie's pistols? Btw the one who wrote the messages in the Columbarium for the EDGERUNNERS gang was Lucy

Aldercaldos - fav crew, Judy - fav romance character, I’m enjoying watching your play throughs.
Also it’s a while away yet, but fav ending - one of the original ones.
@@mtbps4940 Dial back on the spoilers, please. :-/
I love how this game is smooth like a tv show within the missions, since they lack cutscenes
Just found this channel, but being the holidays I had enough time to binge the lp. 👍 sub
Welcome!!
If you like Delicate Weapon, you're gonna love a certain quest in Phantom Liberty. One of the most memorable moments of that expansion.
just a quality of life tip, instead of opening the weapon wheel to put your weapon away, you can just double press triangle :) Loving the series!
Happy new year! Welcome back!
Happy new year broski

You can go to mistis place to read you tarrot abd ask about the graffitis. The tarrot readings foreshadows all the endings

I actually have a displate print of The Fool tarot from Cyberpunk on my wall. Planning to add more, almost all of them make for great wall art.
I want all of em so I can swap.. although I feel like I’d need to read legit or incur the wrath of some eldritch terror
48:00 Looks like the stereotype is true.
4:47 depending on your choices with Jackie’s death, he could have ended up like what that kids talking about
Be nice, don't do spoilers please!

GOOD YAKITORI NIGHT CITY
Techno scene in night city? There is a certain maelstrom location you'll visit eventually. :)
I was thinking about that place too when she said it
It is so fitting that they even turned the graveyards into mega-building style high buildings.
me: this place is huge!!
also me: *unalives at least 10 ppl a day*

Lol, you need a new wardrobe, girlfriend.
What a grand night city new years welcome.
You know it's bad when the NPCs start flaming you
You could have looked for 667 for forever inside the warehouse, because its on the outside at the loading docks.
Man you gotta do the dlc too
Playing CP without Phantom Liberty would be like ending a book in the middle.
i think she told that she have dlc right now so we see what will be ....

I've seen printed Cyberpunk Tarot cards, usially on Etsy
There are official Displates for the Tarot cards. I want all of em so bad
I believe some of those tarot cards can be bought at Displate
DO NOT go to meet honaka at the ambers
But then she'll miss out on MEET HANAKO AT EMBERS every time she finishes a side mission.
how can you be so sure that Takemura isn't a bad guy? 😁
Play Mass Effect
On my list :)
