I've watched every episode of Seinfeld dozens of times and could watch them dozens of times more. One of the best TV show, not just comedies, of all time.
This is what culture is losing by switching to cellphones. You can't bang a cellphone or even slam the phone down to hang up. Besides this and beating the Devil out of a paint brush, the new millennium people have no way to take out their frustrations.
The BEST comedy show ever! I probably watched Seinfeld tens of times each episode, but I always like to watch it again! How could ALL the actors be so GOOD?
There's one missing! When Elaine calls Jerry in the middle of the night, and she goes: Elaine: hey it's me Jerry: uncle Leo??? Elaine: oh that's nice LOL
I am so glad this compilation was made, I would have made it myself if someone didn't before I thought of it! This is go great, thank you for creating this content and sharing it!!!!!!!!!!
*Marty:* Doc! You gotta help me, Biff's got the Almanac and he's ruined everything, and he even married my Mom, oh this is real terrible, Biff even murdered my Dad and he even arrested you too! *Doc Brown:* Who is this... *Marty:* DOC!
Man, I do it whenever I can! Luckily all of my friends and family are huge Seinfeld fans (more or less), so they always get any reference. This was probably one of my favorite running gags from the entire show.
I totally forgot that Elaine did it too. Awesome. I think there was one in the Keith Hernandez episode where George calls Jerry to help him trick his unemployment agent.
+Stefan_Tomislav_Tvrtko well you can try banging your iphone :) or buy one of those CAT phones that can survive being dropped from a construction site.
I'm pretty sure he said "not funny" Cause Elaine is using the same reaction as Jerry. When u r dating someone, u will definitely will copy something from them.
Richard Nixon: "Hello Neil and Buzz, I am talking to you by telephone from the Oval Room at the White House, and this certainly has to be the most historic telephone call ever made from..." Neil Armstrong: "Who IS this?"
Luigi: Mario! You gotta help me! The ghosts are everywhere, bowser's in the basement, and Daisy locked me outs the house with half my mustache burned off by flaming paratroopas! Mario: Who is this? Luigi: MARIO!!!!!
Anyone else notice the running gag in Seinfeld where they tend to say "nevertheless"? I have noticed this, and for some reason it is hilarious now whenever I hear it.
It's a good thing Seinfeld wasn't produced in the 2000s; there would be a *lot* of busted cellphones. Payphones, on the other hand, are built like tanks.
There's a pay phone in the Wendy's parking lot near me. I asked the lady in the drive thru if that thing still works. She said no, but people like to take pictures by it, especially kids who've never seen one.
George frantically asking for Jerry's help over the phone is always hilarious.
JERRAY
I was the 300th like
500th
700th
Congrats; you're all underachievers.
@@JanetStarChild I'm not
I love this gag so much, especially how it gets reversed on jerry with elaine😂
0:24 Puddy staring off into space
and you´re staring at a business card!! xD
Yeah that's right.
LOL good catch!
or space is staring into Puddy...
Like when Kramer call him to install the garbage disposal on the shower
I like how George is on the receiving end of most of them. Lol. 😂
It should have happened to everyone..
His responses are great. “Jerry!!!”
I don't even imagine him saying "who is this" 😁
Is that really all of them?
L. G. What would you expect? It's George.
Always loved George’s whine voice...”JERRY, JERRY!!”
Now that is a good compilation
Bashing a receiver against a phone is part of the language of Seinfeld.
jerry is the original meme king, the true originator of "new phone who dis"
Aomine
magun denfililf
Jerry is channeling his inner Bugs Bunny.
I've watched every episode of Seinfeld dozens of times and could watch them dozens of times more. One of the best TV show, not just comedies, of all time.
That’s like saying Beethoven is one of the greatest composers, or Muhammad Ali is one of the greatest boxers. There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind.
I have started doing this to scamming callers. Best thing ever.
Money0218 problem is, they want to tell you who they are!!
That’s legitimately hilarious. I’m going to steal your idea👍
@@FireLordJohn3191 then u tell them call back again u be hunted down arrest & sued where ever u are cuz u cant go no where
havok9001 I’m sorry, what?
@Brian Pederson i do it all the time i only pick up if it the doctor office or family that called
There's a RUclips clip for just about anything related to Seinfeld.
+Stu McKoo Thank God for that
justifiably
Elaine gave Jerry a taste of his own medicine
This show makes me laugh harder than anything ever has, or ever will.
Payphones were harmed in the making of this video.
The payphone beatings were a tribute to the infamous Goodfellas scene with DeNiro
What's a payphone?
Adam Levine: Am I a joke to you?
This is why we no longer have payphones.
Oh come on, pay phones were tough. You would need much more than that to actually do any harm. They're not the sissy smart phones people use nowadays.
Payphones had to be built tough because everyone did this.
This is what culture is losing by switching to cellphones. You can't bang a cellphone or even slam the phone down to hang up.

@@JanetStarChild People take out their frustrations by leaving shitty comments on social media. I miss the 90s.
Well, before smartphones, it was still somewhat possible. I would throw my Nokia phone angrily in some cases, and I never broke it.

"No that's my name. What's yours?

I occasionally call my friend frantically like this and he reacts just like Jerry.
I love when they smash the phones in frustration lmao
Beat it Brian....BEAT IT!

The BEST comedy show ever! I probably watched Seinfeld tens of times each episode, but I always like to watch it again! How could ALL the actors be so GOOD?
The amount of stuff public phones use to endure!
🤣
I love how Puddy is just starring into nothingness :D
His specialty!
What an intelligent man
Life before smartphones lol
Yeah that's right.
Sometimes you need to stare blankly into the middle distance, gives you a chance to defrag the hard drive.
I'm so glad there's a video for this
the original "new phone, who dis?"
There's one missing! When Elaine calls Jerry in the middle of the night, and she goes:
Elaine: hey it's me
Jerry: uncle Leo???
Elaine: oh that's nice
LOL
😂Which episode??
That one wasn’t intentional, so kind of different
love the troll face at 0:47
0:25 gotta love Puddy's traditional blank stare that you can still see behind Jerry.
This gag should have showed up more
Thanks so much for compiling these scenes. Little moments like these always added to the show.
hands down one of my favorite gags in the series
"JERRY!"
Who is this?
(bang bang bang)
Uncle Leooooooo????.....HILARIOUS!!!

The cinematography and editing of this show was something else.

Lol. I love those phone booths. Im sooooo sad they are hardly around.
The trick is not to overuse it and throw some variations along the way. "Uncle Leo" is just gold!

Why do I keep watching this? It's getting to be some kind of weird fascination.
hahahaahaa, I love when they smash the phone XD
My favorite recurring joke, I do it all the time still
HAHAH :23 seconds! Puddy is just staring blankly the whole time, this show is Gold, GOLD
I loved this compilation! One of the best bits of the show!

Happy 11th birthday to this wonderful compilation!
wait just a minute. george has a hair dryer?...WHY?
Same reason he still has Brylcreem
Michael Bennett who is this?
To style his hair like Dennis Franz
The seemingly unlikely example of a man's man, though for George, it's a good one.
django jango Lmao never thought about that

Pure.
Comedic.
Genius.
this is so unbelievably funny for some reason
Dave Bowman: HAL, I won't argue with you any more! Open the pod bay doors!

I totally forgot that Elaine did it too. Awesome. I think there was one in the Keith Hernandez episode where George calls Jerry to help him trick his unemployment agent.
It's called The Dealership. Episode 11 of Season 9. One of my faves.
Legendary. What a wonderful series this was….
I said this to my wife when she was calling and going crazy about something and she called me a bunch of names and hung up lol
Still waiting for that frantic phone call that I can answer with "Uncle Leo?"

Yes you can. Do it anyways. Lol.
Awesome! I haven't noticed it happend so many times on this series XD
Of these four, I've only ever seen The Nap but watching the rest of these with no context is great.
Especially the first one lmao
Anybody notice how Puddy is just blankly staring into space like he did in the airplane with Elaine and Vegtables Lasagna?! gotta love Seinfeld!
This is possibly the best repeating joke in the entire series. Only a small handful of times... each funny in their own ways.

- Who is this?
- Elaine!! *poc poc poc*
