As a die hard Used fan, I honestly can’t believe I haven’t heard this until now. Heartwork was (still is) absolutely phenomenal. But you’re right. This song really does sound so much like their earlier music. Nostalgia can’t even begin to describe it 😊

As fans we all should know exactly what this song is meant for, and it’s so fucking perfect. I don’t think The Used ever wanted to be in the spotlight like so many other bands. They were grateful for their success, and they would be happy to just cruise along without selling out. At the core, The Used is a band that is grateful to have a job, and everything beyond that is just icing on the cake. But they won’t sell themselves for easy opportunities, and when they have recently it’s probably been to pay the bills. I am a die hard, true fan and all I can say is everything you do from now on should be because you want to, not because you have to. Best band of all fucking time, period!
I disagree that they have done anything to "pay bills" Artists change and evolve as they age because they become different people.. nobody in this band is the same person they were 20 years ago so we are not going to hear self titled vibes on every song.. and if we did everyone would complain "whY dOeS EvEry SonG soUnd the same" I personally love that there is a used song for whatever mood I'm in or whatever I'm doing.. I think it's magical that no matter what goes on in our personal lives we can find a used song that can bring us back to a happy place. There is a reason out of my multiple tattoos most of them are used related... I connect with Robs writing and all of the writers so personally it feels like a soulmate connection. Seeing them live is like seeing god for me it's a religious experiences.. there are some people that don't get it and just listen for entertainment but I think for a lot of us the used is like a weird family member.

I remember that ending interview.. and that's what I had to convince my dad to let me go see live 😂 I remember him telling me, a child in 4th grade at the time, once they "grow up" I can see them live. He took me and a friend to see them when I was in 6th grade. TASTE OF CHAOS 2007 BABY 😂 my dad stood on the side like a champ all night.
