Your first mistake is using the clip in the first place , all it does is scream “ look at me I have a tactical knife” don’t be the first guy in the room the bad guy knows he has to deal with first . Present your self as the 3rd or 4th guy so you have time to react to whatever it is he’s doing. Hopefully running away and getting to safety.

I find the blade tough to deploy quickly and the clip does not latch onto clothing.
