Right there with you! I went suuuuuuper short in a pixie right before Thanksgiving. Today I did get my "hunky hubby" to trim 1/4 inch at the neckline today, because I had a mullet that just wasn't working. LOL That tiny bit made a big difference. I like using 3 tiny clips to pull my bangs off my face to create a necessary distraction, or I wear a cute ball cap for a pulled together look!
The nape is always what makes it awkward! I've been avoiding cutting mine this time and yesterday I was actually able to pull it back in a little tiny ponytail. It was so awkward but I was happy!
I love inbetween. Stop this insanity with long hair being feminine. It's not. It's just long hair. Men with long hair do not look feminine. Be yourself, for heaven's sake. Whatever that means.
I really enjoyed this down to earth video. The advice is very similar to successfully going grey. The equivalent going grey tip I would give is, don't start dying it different colours - it defeats the whole object.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked this talk. I have been considering stopping coloring (not ready yet!) and when I do I think it's going to be cold turkey. Otherwise I'll be working just as hard as when I colored it a regular brown.
I wish I found your channel sooner!! EVERY woman who loves to change their hair!! I have been doing the gown cut dance for 40 years. After covid I thought I'd cut all my hair off in some kind of symbolic gesture. Oh how I hated it, and still hating it, and it's been a year and half. Thank you thank you thank you!!
This is a great video. I’m growing out an awful cut right now. I have to try to stop looking in the mirror. I would love to find a headband that doesn’t hurt behind my ears.
I grew out my grey and just kept going. Every now and again I think I want to cut it but before I do I hit Pinterest and look at the long hair and decide not to. Lol The best part of being a woman is having the power to change your mind 😊 Love you , thankyou ❤

Good luck! I am not succeeding in growing mine but I will need to soon because my gray hair that's coming in needs more length and weight!
