I did buy it for 3 € on GOG for Windows (PC). For that price it is okaish, but I agree, the retro Arkanoid has no options at all, no savegame, nothing. And you are totally right: they didn't included any simple level editor. Come'on Microids! What the hell were they thinking? And the online mode is more or less dead. So, only single and local/splitscreen play does works today. Sad, because this could be an excellent game, if the would make some changes/upgrades.
Without a paddle, I suck at ping pong and breakout type games. Thanks for the review here 👍
Wish there was an Arcade Spinner controller for this. Has there been any updates to the game?
Honestly, now that think about it, Arkanoid or Breakout feels like the evolution of Pong, from 2 players to single player
Did they ever add in support options to get rid of the curved "TV" grid?
Thanks!
I just bought the game, downloaded the latest patch, and unfortunately, no they didn't.
That's a bummer. Thanks.
Does the switch version have mouse support? If so u can use usb spinner.
Don't know. I never tried to get a mouse working with a switch. That is a really interesting idea. I may research. Thanks!
