Looks beautiful to me! No arguing with the nice pictures you got, what a deal. The only Soviet lenses I have that aren't that great are badly damaged. I even have one Helios 44 lens that is so scratched up you can barely see through it, but it still takes decent pictures.
Somehow, “beautiful”, and “Soviet lens” just don’t seem right together. Just hope yours wasn’t built on a Friday, when the factory workers cracked the vodka open!
Been really looking to see some sample images of this on film and not digital. I quite enjoyed seeing yours! I have this same setup coming in the mail with the universal viewfinder & fed2 and am curious what kind of compositional issues you ran into with this setup and where adjustments might should be made. Thanks!
Thank you for watching. My biggest issue is parallax when shooting close-ups. Universal finder kind of takes care of that but it's not 100 percent accurate.
hello, i bought a jupiter 11 for my fed 2 but the rangefinder doesn't agree at all with the focus ring marks on the lens. it appears that the black register ring extends significantly more than on the original industar lens. do you have any thoughts on this? thanks.
i figured it out - the register distances are exactly the same between the lenses, i measured them. but the jupiter 11 has a significantly larger _diameter_ ring, and the foot on the fed 2 camera doesn't meet it properly, it falls almost inside of it, that's why it doesn't follow the movement properly. i believe the position is adjustable on the camera. hope this helps someone sometime
I own one myself. A fantastic lens!
Nice atmosphere & Lens !

Kris Bochenek Yes! I believe they were made in the Arsenal factory, same one that made the Kiev, aka “Hasselbladski”!
