I made my mom sit and watch the last of us 1. I had her play it. We had the greatest time playing it. She loved it so much and I'm grateful I got to show her something so awesome. I am playing the second one with her now and I'm scared. The game left me broken for over 3 months. And I don't want her to cry as much as I did too. This is a powerful series. I wish I never played it so I could enjoy it again

This was such a beautiful game with so much darkness, it’s perfectly balanced. That’s why this is such an amazing game. You have all this dark, grittiness and gore, that’s balanced out with the environment,music and characters

The story is so complex that in the end it all comes down to preference. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean its bad and just because I liked it doesn't mean its good. I feel that the game is so branched out that there is no single definition for the terms "good" and "bad"

Sometimes in the middle of the night, like 3AM when I can't sleep, I simply break in tears when I think about this game I really, really wish I could have played it without spoilers. I really wish I could forget it all and feel it all again I get really anxious thinking, what if the universe dies and when it resets or something, this majestic game isn't created? Play The Last Of Us while you have the chance, show it to everyone you know, watch it like a movie, anything They won't regret it I'm in tears and it's 4AM again. I'm saving this for my RPG campaign with my friends, and couldn't help but break in tears once more

Ellie should not have been the one to die, and if you didn't understand this, then I can't understand the way you process narratives. Ellie is the central character in The Last of Us. She is the most important, more so than Joel. Plus, we have seen what Joel can do when he has lost someone important to him, but Ellie we always interpreted as less violent - until Joel's death, which acts as a catalyst for her to change so drastically, becoming obsessed with killing Abby.
