i struggle in the mazda and after watching this after ten minutes i have knocked 3 seconds off my lap time and gone from 1:49 to 1:46! thanks for the great guide.
For racing it’s the vee, a good high sof vee race has much more wheel to wheel racing than just about any other car in open wheel and for sports cars I do love the Mazda for the same reasons.
Sambo, thank you so much again for your videos! 🎥🙏 I'm going to start training right away and try to win a race 🏃♂🏆. I usually upload my races when I reach the podium 🥇. Best regards, and I hope you're doing well! 🌟😊
I've seen others say that limiting your brake input to around 80% is more effective because you're less likely to activate ABS, although you set very good laptimes, what's your thought with this do you think this is worth it or doesn't have much effect?
It makes sense but 100% braking doesn’t mean you’d lock up (and ABS is engaged) as everything is grip dependent. The other cars I race have no ABS and I use the same technique. A quick 100% in a straight line before trailing off is more than enough. I do have ABS haptics on my brake pedal but it’s very very rare that it’s engaged (the ABS I mean)
What's your way of shifting? It looks like you aren't using your clutch and not even lifting the throttle. What's the right technique on which settings and does it matter?
You definitely don’t want to be coming off the throttle on up shifts matey. My way is dead easy as the MX5 is sequential. I just hit the right paddle to shift up and left paddle to shift down however I also have a button clutch and if I’m downshifting with high refs I’ll often hit the clutch button as I hit the left paddle to ensure it goes into the gear.
Heyy. I've downloaded your blap file and loaded into a test session on Okayama Full, but I can't see your ghost or the delta bar, even though these options are ticked on. I've also set comparison lap to show. But no success...Any tips?

Nice work!
Wooow I’m stuck at 45 highs and there’s some interesting things here, thank u so much!!
That's a very good time, good job! I'm struggling to break into 46 consistently but going to give it a shot again
I just followed you because of the blap file! Keep the work coming! Thanks
Thanks matey
Thank you as always!
My pleasure!
Man, I remember having a crazy battle for 2nd in the Vees thanks your guide for this track! Glad to see you doing the MX5 guide for it!
Thanks buddy
Best guide ever. Always appreciate you, Sambo.

Sambo! Thanks for the videos every week. But you have put Tsukuba Full in the title.
Fixed now, thanks
I love you Sambo, hope you are having a great day! Thank you such amazing track guides. I do have to ask what is your favorite series to race?

Hi, hope you're well. When we getting the Lime Rock Vee Guide? I can only get 1:03.8
The laps already been recorded, I’ll be doing the VO in a couple I’d hours so it will be out in about 6.
