Rockets and STEM Enthusiasm Soar at Morgridge Academy

Students at Morgridge Academy at National Jewish Health enjoyed a learning opportunity to build and launch rockets as part of a STEM project with Space Systems Command - SSC and the U.S. Space Force.
Morgridge Academy at National Jewish Health is free school for children in kindergarten through eighth grade who have been diagnosed with asthma, allergies, eczema, cystic fibrosis or another chronic disease. Children who attend the school have had frequent absences from regular school due to health issues. Morgridge Academy has full time registered nurses in school every day and they help get health conditions under control and teach the students and their families how to self-manage conditions at home. At the same time, the small class size at the school allows for individualized attention and helps students who are behind to catch up and improve academics. It is the only school of its kind on a medical campus in U.S.
