1/4 or 1/8 thick ice sheets would be cool. Sort of like glass except you don't have to worry about cleanup. The trick will be to make them and keep them as cold as possible right up until the shot. 1/4 in I'd bet you could get through 6 but not 7. 1/8 inch I bet you could get through 12 but not 13.
I count 10 cans. Looking at video it looks like it got caught in the 11th can. It did puncture the 12th though. So, it only made it all the way through 10 cans!!! Pretty fun video. Thanks guys!!!

Try the Cameron Haines shot through spray paint cans with propane torch trick
Do pumkins or watermelons but use different arrow diameters and weights to see if it really matters

Put a 2x4 or 2x6 on top of the cans to kinda hold them in place as the arrow goes thru - still awesome
