Yeah. Went to a theme park once and rode this spinning swing ride. I forget what it's called, but it's this huge, boat-like swing that can hold like 60 people, and it swings a full 360, and when it swings upwards, the whole thing turns upside down. And so right in the middle of the ride, the machine breaks down, and it completely stops while we're all upside down. It was the worst experience ever omfg. I think we were stuck there for a good 10 minutes before the ride finally came back on and we were allowed to get off. One lady passed out while we were up there, and everyone else was either completely nauseous or had a huge headache. And the shoulders. God. Luckily no one was seriously injured though. Never going back there again.

Sequoia Adventure looks as painful as it sounds! Especially when it stopped a couple of times! My so uses would have felt like they were smashing up through my nose and into my brain!! Yuck!! Thanks for "taking one (or more) for the team" guys!
Well, it happened the first year of opening. The attraction has to calibrate the brakes according to the weight of the passengers, but there was a problem with the scale. It is certainly a badly aged attraction, it has been closed for a few years and will probably be demolished soon
i love how the concept for this model was literally just "y'know how someone came up with the idea for the ferris wheel by imagining a carousel turned on its side? what if we did the same thing but with a wild mouse?" and the designers just. never thought twice about the logistics of this idea and how uncomfortable it'd be to actually ride
Usually, if the ride is going fast enough through a vertical loop or corkscrew the g forces press you into your seat and you don’t feel like you’re going upside down very much. But with rides that go through inversions slowly, you definitely feel like you might fall out, even though you won’t.
During this ride I half expecting to hear "hey guys it's Josh and welcome back to let's game it out. Today we're going to build a hellish coaster that will torment guests for years"
This S&S Screaming Squirrel looks nearly as painful as a Zamperla Volare even though this is a sit down and the Volare is a flying coaster. Compact designs of many coasters are quite painful unless it's a Wild Mouse coaster which are suppose to "fling" the riders around.

I live close to the park and I go every year. I tried sequoia once out of curiosity, but never again. I could not shake the headache afterwards.
