Shock tower reinforcements was one of my first upgrades. And thanks for some of your older torque box videos gave me confidence to tackle those as well ... thank you .. from 68 cougar cousin
Barry, for us, that love to watch a pro, like you perform a task, before diving into it ourselves, your like the consummate "Professor" !!! I've done the front torque boxes last year, and just finished the shock tower reinforcement plates from Open Tracker Racing on my 65 Fastback.. I drilled a hole, in the center of each plate, and threaded it, for 1/2" by 20 threads to use a plug to seal it afterwards. So I could use Eastwood Internal Frame coating is in there, after all of that welding in my, previously repaired and reworked shock towers. It's a case of Overkill I'm sure, though it helps with my "rust" paranoia.... Love the Arccaptain 200 getting a work out in this segment.. Carry on brother !!!
I love Stangs I know this was a pain in the Arse, PG-rated I have learned so much about everything, and the trailer as an alignment rack is brilliant my friend, I so appreciate your quality.
Conitue to be impressed with this build. Great to see it all coming together. Your attention to detail is amazing. Thanks for sharing all your efforts.
I really enjoy your videos. They are very well done and always entertaining and educational. I am restoring a 1970 Cougar so much of this content applies for the Cougar too. Keep up the videos sir!
Nice body work I have a motor question 1964 289 d code before pulling motor we removed oil filter better access to motor mount bolts and found the filter to not have very much oil in it
I call it what it is "Step Flanging". That's what I was taught by the "Old timers" when I started doing body and frame repair, way back in 1964. I retired medically back in 2009, knees shot and L4 and L5 messed up from a bad accident in '98. Got "T" boned in a 1985 F-150 doing 3 mph in an intersection by a 1993 F-150 going 65 mph in a 30 mph zone. Yep, knocked my cab 6 inches to the left off the frame. Btw, couldn't sue because there wasn't enough money in it for the lawyers. I am a "very sore" survivor at 73 years young.
Where do you order your Dynacorn panels from? I live in North Ga. and I'm looking for the closest place to me for a better price on shipping. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks!

Most of the parts were provided by the owner. I’ve ordered from a vender in SLC.
