Quik just carries a torch that Dre and others lit decades ago. Quik didn't add anything monumental to music, not ONE thing. His greatest success came from him working under and beside Dre for other artists. When we recorded at DEATH ROW CanAm Studios the only thing new Quik brought to the table was showing Dre how to use a new machine Dre never saw or used before and that new technology does in a short time (the lazy method) what Dre took a long time doing because he did it with equipment he used for years that wasn't even designed to do the things Dre produced with it. Quik is one of many great producers of all time but if he never made music in his life music would still be the same today. Dre throughout his entire career did things that changed the evolution of music around the world. Music and thousands of artists would not be where they are today if it wasn't for Dre.

I don’t ever see Dj Quik scratch. He be scratching the hell out of records in his music but videos like this he looks kind of amateurish 🤔 Make me wonder if he was actually doing those scratches on those albums.
Of course he knows how to scratch look at the ease of how he handles his turntables. I'm sure scratching is easily a past time hobby for Quik something he did decades ago. He's a master engineer he knows everything about his equipment. His body of work is untouchable. If u have to question Quik your not a real fan.
