Nice video, but looking at with the gurney flap on im a bit worried about the air that is being lost off the side of the outside of the wing. It doesn't look like much now but with a full length segment it could get worse.
Nice video, am editing a tuft test video as we speak on a Miata's diffuser, contemplating adding a gurney flap which is how I landed on this video-- it has done well for me on a previous diffuser iteration. Did you ever tuft test anything below the wing? I imagine the R53 has a huge wake from exhaust til roofline.
